  1. I am doing a rod building class at my church and I was wondering what I should do since its my first build. I want a really nice rod for under a hundred bucks maybe a little over a hundred. I want a split grip, micro guides, and a reel seat they put on carrot stix....I also want a decent blank because its a jig/ big worm rod. I looked at MHX blanks on mudhole but don't know how good they are......All input is GREATLY appreciated :D
  2. Better find you a good rod..Cause I have feeling your gonna whack some fish with those
  3. Just got my airbrush today! Can't wait to be able to paint like that!

  5. If your going to buy tungesten..here is a website to save alot of cash Bulktungsten.com
  6. Ask him if he is throwing the wompin duck...But in all seriousness...Ask him about how he got out of his funk, with the death of his brother and all...He told all the guys in Nashville about it....It seriously has changed my life. More people need to hear it..Not only from a fishing stand point. But a life stand point

  11. After you paint. I use super glue. But some guys use epoxy..I am too slow to use epoxy
  12. Get a tungsten 3/4 ounce weight. I have never used an egg sinker. I feel it gets you WAY more hang ups. I can take my 3/4 ounce tung. bullet sinker and throw it in brush with no snags.
  13. Oh no! The tonka truck I thought no one would find out. Lol I don't know why thats in my room other than we have no other place to put it. Thanks guys!

  15. I would go with a more expensive rod. I made the mistake and got all expensive reels.Cause think about it. You don't feel the fish with your reel do you? No! You feel with the rod. You want the most sensitive rod you can get!
  16. 7'10" will really give your hookset some umph. And you will be able to throw your lures a heck of alot farther believe it or not. Pair it up with a Revo winch. And your good to go. A Revo SX will do though
  17. Well one time a guy told me to put that I have a parent that has been in marketing and stuff..But thanks
  18. Do you think when I am looking for a sponsor. For example I just sent my resume and everything to strike king. Which they told me to send in a resume. To tell them that my father has been in marketing almost 15 years now? And that he is head of US operations of a company...(He runs the US side of the company)

  22. Tungsten is worth it if you have the dough..Its a must on Carolina rigs though.
  23. I wouldn't use a salt shaker. The holes are way to big for the powder paint. I would just get a craft brush of whatever size you need to do detail with two tone baits.
