  1. For the price, the Tracker is a real bargain. It will get the job done.
  2. I like the Minn-Kota All-Terrain.I've used both, and this is the best I've ever had.
  3. Go ahead and get you a 12-14 ft. used johnboat fo r 100-200 bucks and fix it up.If you are planning on carrying anything , you'll need the space.
  4. Get the Minn-Kota All Terrain foot-control with 40 lb. thrust. It costs $279 to $300 at Wal-mart .You will be well pleased.
  5. I'm using a Yamaha now,but I had one a few years ago.They are goodand dependable.
  6. I try to give a bait 30 min. before I change, but rarely meet that standard.
  7. Baits that are highly visable and that make lots of noise or vibration.
  8. My winter fishing baits are the following:jig and pig, suspending jerkbaits, deep diving crankbaits,Rattle-traps yo-yoed off the bottom, and straight-tailed finese worms.
  9. I catch fish on secondary points with texas-rigged woms,crankbaits,slow-rolling spinnerbaits, and even topwaters on the shallow end of the point.
  10. I don't think every river has bass in them, but in the deep South where I live they all do.I've even caught small bass in a creek on my land that's only 3-4 feet wide.

  17. I fish a state lake in south Miss.I like the shallow(2-5 ft.)flats.They are stump infested and thick with grass. There are 2 long, winding ditches running through them. There are many techniques that you can use.
  18. I like fishing flats with stumps and grass. If it has a ditch running through it,so much the better.Spinnerbaits, floating minnows, shallow running crankbaits, and plastic worms do it for me.
  19. Get you some marine plywood. It costs, but it will stand up to getting wet and rotting.
  20. That commercial is a hoot! LOL !!!
  21. I fished out of a 14 ft. aluminum johnboat for many years .I had( and still have )a '73 Evinrude 18 hP. It will haul butt on that boat.iT Currently needs a diaphram in the carb. When I fix it,I'm gonna sell it,but I hate to get rid of it.It's a solid, dependable motor.
  22. I love mine.Half the fun was fixing it up.It drafts pretty shallow ,and I can go where some boats can't get into.Yes ,it is similar to the old Kingfisher. As a matter of fact ,I had one but sold it for peanuts.Should've kept it.
  23. Unless you want a motor for the "showoff " value or need a large motor for tournament fishing, all you need is some thing to get you to your spot and back. You'll be using your TM when you get there anyway.I have a 25 HP Yamaha on a 15 ft. Terry stick steering bass boat ,and it works just fine.
  24. Could someone give me some tips on mounting my transducer on my trolling motor?I'm thinking using hose clamps to fix the transducer on the TM.
