  1. At first, I didn't like his antics, but he grows on you.I think he just loves what he's doing. He does seem to add some spark to the sport!
  2. I DON'T think it's cheating.I use a Hummingbird depthfinder mainly fot depth readings and to find channels and dropoffs. It doesn't help that much, but it does keep the interest high.
  3. I'd go with a mid level Nitro.
  4. We don't have a Dick's around here,so I guess Walmart gets the nod.
  5. I am Bassinchik's hubby and I second her post.We catch a lot of quality bass on a floating hard jerkbait(like Rogues,Rapalas, etc.)You can use it as a topwater bait. You can jerk and rip it just under the surface. You can also reel it in like a crankbait.I catch a lot of quality fish this way.You gotta get there before daylight and fish the 1st two hours of daylight for best results.Late afternoon not too bad either.
  6. I'm totally pleased with the coverage of our great sport
  7. In Mississippi, the bass have been on the beds for a month now.
  8. In Mississippi , we have a long growing season. We also have Florida bass.I fish for big fish.In the last two years I've caught a 12 and three 10's.I use big fish baits ,and I'm not interested in catching a stringer full of dinks.I don,t usually catch manyfish, but they're mostly big fish.I've lost count of how many 4-6 pounders I've caught.I won't catch but 3-4 fish, but the smallest will generally be a 3 pounder.I'm totally catch and release.I'lltake a picture with a digital camera and then release them.I did keep the 12.2 and had it mounted.
  9. I own both and consider the glass boat a more stable platform on big waters. On the other hand ,the alum boat will go places that the glass boat can't.It's more of a small or shallow lake type of boat for me,at least.
  10. ETEC is the best,I hear( even though I run a Yamaha).Don't scratch it!
