So sorry to hear, I have a 13 y/o German Shorthair Pointer that probably only has a few more years left and even though we just bought a beagle pup to help us when the time comes I know its still going to be very hard..He is by far the best dog I have every owned. When the time comes I'm hoping I can have a vet come to the house and inject him instead of putting him through more stress of going to the vets. Now this part is going to be hard for me to get out My dad had a white German Shepard that went everywhere with him and 1 day he called me out to his house because he thought the dog was acting sick..I get out there and the dog is just laying there and acting sluggish..I open his mouth and looked at his gums which were white and told my dad to take him to the vet that I thought he was sick. A couple of hours later I drive by the house and I see his pickup backed into the garage.As I'm walking into the garage I see my dad standing at the back of the truck with the tailgate opened..I asked how the dog was and thats when my dad broke down and I saw the dog laying at the end on the tailgate.. They had to put the dog down and my dad wanted to bring it home and bury it on the property.. Thats the 1st time in my adult life I ever seen my dad brake down and it still affects me today when I read stories about people losing a pet

I was thinking about getting a 16' boat with a 9.9hp 4-stroke and decking it out for restricted lakes.. So if I went with a "High Output" 9.9hp(15hp) knowbody will be the wiser as long as I keep the speed down and dont drive like an idiot?? Can anyone tell by the serial # what the HP is ?? Probably will be using a 80# 24vt trolling motor most of the time but its nice to know I can get back to the dock quickly if a storm wips up and not lugging across the lake with a under powered motor..

My 1st boat was a '94 Fisher SV 19 GT (before Tracker bought them out)with a 115..It was a semi-v with high front and back decks I believe they were one of the 1st companies welding aluminum boats and using all aluminum decking..They had 5 year hull warranty and lifetime deck warranty..

Usually around here you start seeing the used boats go up for sale in the fall,but with the price of gas going up I've been seeing alot more than usual for sale

The video looks funny but these fish are messing up the water here..They are everywhere,you can't canoe,kayak,boat or water ski in fear of being hit by one..we are talking about 40# fish that can do some heavy damage esp to a kid on ski's Then you have to look at the impact they are doing to the fisheries.. I do not understand why these non-native species have to be brought over here when we do not know the impact they will cause.. Now that they are here I do not see how we are going to get rid of them

Club companies release a new line every two to three years in order to maintain their bottom line. IMO there were two companies that really resisted that line of thinking. Shimano and Ping. Ping started shifting to the flavor of the year line around 02, I'm surprised Shimano has lasted this long. While making a quality product is first and foremost, a manufacturer of durable goods must also consider repeat business. If you're standing pat on your product line, your market share will eventually dry up. It would be a kick in the teeth IF Shimano redesigns the Curado then turning around and dropping the price...I would be PO if I dropped $200 on a newly designed reel and turn around the next year and the company makes it better and cheaper.. If a company has a good product at a reasonable price they do not have to keep tweaking it year after year.. Thats 1 thing I liked about the Curado C's ,I could buy a couple every year and they were all the same not like some other companies who feel they have to change things yearly..

If Shimano does redesign and lower the prics of the Curado wouldn't that be a kick in the teeth to all the guys who bought the new D series.. I bought a new Citica this year and IMO its just as good as my older Curados.. I was planning on trying the new Curado but now I guess I will sit back and see if the prices drop even lower or wait and see if a new 1 will be introduced..

Anyone of those boats can be a decent buy if they were taken care of.. Even the top named boats can be junk if they were neglected...I suggest looking them over really good or taking someone who knows what to look for with you.. Someone elses deffinition of well taken care of boat might not be the same as yours
