  1. Kevin Van Dam has a good video called "pithcing to the heavy hitters." I'm 99% sure that he goes into the process of flipping. I know if Jimmy Houstan Should ever be giving a seminar around you he usually does flipping. I seen hime 3 times and each time he did. As far as line length let it out to the rell if your rod is straight up. Then take the line in your free hand in the mentioned spot and move your arm to the side. Just go from there. Once you pull out the initial line you can close the bail since most flipping is really close and in shallow water. The last one I can really explain too much differently to you. Hope this all helps.   2. If you see alot of surface action from the bluegills that might be expecting a feeding from the pond owner, its hard to beat one of those miny black buzz baits.
  3. The KVD books are great. The other two that make great reads are Jay Yelas's and Shaw Grigsby's. Both provide the reader with insites to life.
  4. I was wondering if anyone here belongs to a college club or team because I am looking to start one in the fall when i begin college. I've talked to alot of the club president that are in the Big Ten, but I was was wondering if anyone else is out there. I have talked to a few others and have learned a great deal about the CAST program.   5. Hey I just ordered a new riton Tr-186 with a 150 merc xr6 and was wondering if anyone had any suggestions of ways to set it up or get it internally(storage) before the first trip that they've learned . Thanks
  6. I was thinking about starting to pour my own plastics and have done alot of research but was wondering what everyone else thought. Is it worth it to make my own molds. Also is it even reasonable to melt down my old lures. Please let me know if there is anything else you think I should know. Thanks alot everyone.

  8. Hey my dad and I just bought a new Triton TR186 and we were wondering how everyone else keeps their soft plastics organized. Do you like to use plano boxes, plastic bags, worm binder, or do you have a better suggestion. Thanks bassdocktor
