  1. I honestly don't remember exactly, but I could figure it out if what nick said doesn't work. I won't be able to get on it though for at least another hour. If you don't figure it out then maybe we can exchange messages through pm. You'll be addicted in no time.
  2. I did get you about 3 or 4 times in a row. That didn't make up for the many 1on1's I lost to Bantam1. I agree, good times.
  3. Bantam1 is a sleeper. I don't think I played a round where he wasn't the high scorer for his team. Nice job Dan. Give me a weekend to play and we will see where I am next week.
  4. I can't believe I just saw this thread. Nice to see a couple PS3 gamers too. My screen name on here is my psn screen name. I will comb through the posts and try to add you all. Getting on once my wife gets off the TV. Oh yea, she is hooked as well.
  5. Glad to see that 704c is getting a workout.
  6. Great sticks there! Interested to know how that 894 works for you. I am looking at getting a longer rod for flipping and not sure what to get. Enjoy them all.
  7. 1. MBR782: Shallow cranks, buzzbaits, spinnerbaits, jerkbaits, light plastics. 2. MBR843: All purpose rod up to 1/2oz. 3. BCR 854 or 855: Carolina rigs, jigs, frogs/toads Either IMX or GLX. I will also agree that a new IMX can be found for less than $200 and a "like new" GLX for $225-$275. I have two of the above mentioned rods per talking with Bronzefly. He knows his Loomis rods. I do not have the 843, but do have the 783.
  8. We lefties don't have much in the Shimano line to choose from. I have a Sol that I use for light/shallow cranking, but have yet to pick up a reel for deep cranks. Here are some that I have researched: BPS Extreme (23" IPT) Curado 201DPV (21") Chronarch 101BPV (?) Daiwa Sol (23.6") Daiwa Crazy Cranker/High Power (22") Revo Winch (?) Hope this helps
  9. I never fished my Fuego specifically with spinnerbaits, but I liked 12# YoZuri Hybrid. 10# didn't cast as well as 12 for me.
  10. Find a nice used St. Croix Avid 7' Medium Fast. They can be found in your price range. You can throw a wide range of baits with this stick. *Oops, just saw the previous 7'MF post. x2 then.
  11. Do you prefer magnetic breaks or centrifugal? I prefer the later and that's why I ended up with a Chronarch D. If you buy the 2010 premier then I guess it doesn't matter because of the dual breaking.
  12. I've got the 783, only IMX, and it is the definition of an all-purpose rod. It falls right in your price range if you buy it in store. I got one new off the forums for $180 not too long ago.
  13. Try it and report back your findings.
  14. You can find a NIB Revo S on ebay if you bid on one. I got one for $72 plus $5 shipped. This was not for the newer model, but I actually do not even know if that one is out yet. Great reel for the price tag.
  15. I would go 7'ft M power CrankinStick. I think you would benefit from the extra casting distance being shore bound. I had the 6'6M and I really liked it, but wished I had bought the 7 fter.
  16. All bottom contact baits for sure. May get away with it for spinnerbaits depending on how fast it really is. I would definitely NOT throw any crankbaits with it.
  17. Keep it up! That is a nice prize you are rewarding yourself with. Make sure you put it away so you don't it on anything else. With the prices of cigs here in Chicago, you could have a new boat in 12 months. Again, congrats on the best decision you can make.
  18. Marquette fan here. All you Kentucky fans remember the 2003 Elite 8 game? This is the start of my favorite 5 months of sport viewing.
  19. I thought the same thing. Now she stomps on me 50% of the time when playing COD World at War. I too can't wait till Modern Warefare 2 comes out.
  20. It will probably cost more than $15 to get it fixed anywhere. Spool it around anything round and put it back on once you exchange it. Cabelas will stand behind all their branded products.
  21. I agree with RW's comment about an 854. I can understand if you are trying to get (1) rod to cover unweighted and weighted, but the 854 may be the better rod in this situation. Ideally I think you need two rods for what you have listed. A 3/16oz weight plus any soft plastic fit work great with the 854 and it would make a perfect 3/8-1/2oz jig rod. I would recommend trying to hold the two side by side before making your decision. I found my BCR 854 GLX for $225 and it is in great condition. Keep your eyes open. Whatever you end up getting, I am sure you will love it. Bronzefly has also been a great help to me as well.
  22. WOW! I am really shocked. I was busy for a couple weeks and must have missed it. Too bad. Is one able to view the board once they are banned, just not post anything? J/W
  23. Haven't seen Dink post on here in awhile. Just wondering if anyone knows where he has gone? Did I miss something? It seemed like he was posted 10+ times a day on the Fishing Rods, Reels, and Lines board. Hope everything is well.
  24. No problems here. I just updated to the latest version and it still works flawlessly. Hopefully a re-install will solve your problems.
