  1. I don't see how you could cast it without tangles. The only way to fish it would be trolling or drift fishing to minimize tangles. Most bass tournamnets ban trolling.
  2. I can't even vote since there is no jerkbait category.
  3. Only shimmy could come up with that one. LOL
  4. Your getting that pose down pretty good J. Nice bass.

  9. A-Jay I told you to stick a pig & you stuck two! WTG.
  10. I have two of the AVC70MM avids. They make great crank baits rods for up to 5/8 or even 3/4 oz baits. They are probably best suited for shallow or medium depth crankbaits. They definitely help keep smallies buttoned up on treble hooked baits.
  11. Sorry to here about the family loss & illness. And sorry about the fishing & mother natures wrath. The possible addition of the alm or glass pro-v would make a nice addition to your garage for sure. But you would have to change your moniker.
  12. Hit the shallow lake first. Since it will ice over first the fish population in that lake will be putting on the pre winter feed bag before the deep lake does. Besides after the shallow lake starts to freeze you will still have the deep lake to fish. If you can graph the suspended fish depths in the deep lake you could fish for them vertically. Or since your still young & in good shape you could troll for them via paddle power. It is real easy to target depths from 10-20-30 with just diving plugs. Throw on a snap weight & you can get 40-50. There are guys/girls in Wisconsin that row troll for muskies up until ice over. Good luck with your quest & stick a pig!
  13. Great story. Congrats to both you & your dad.
  14. Most angling prowess IS a result of persistence.

  18. Fantastic. You got to love it when a buddy gets a big girl. Lake looks pretty flat compared to Eire right now.
  19. Two pictures of the same fish. Good eyes J & everone else.
  20. I guess I had that coming with all the camo shorts comments.
  21. Got out yesterday between the rains. Same program as last trip different day, different conditions. Struggled to get bit after catching a double. Finally got some better fish. Can you tell which is bigger?
