  1. Congrats on your new pb. Nice smallie.
  2. Good report Robert. Like the color on that big girl not as dark as the winter fish.
  3. I recently sent two spinning reels into DVC for routine service. Mike gave me a quick turn around with more than adequate email info about receiving them, projected finish time & when they would be shipped back.. Just a heads up for any one needing real service for their reels. He gives a 10% discount for bass resource members too.
  4. A toad for sure. Congrats
  5. This time of year will be post spawn moving into summer patterns. Think jigs with crawl trailers, senkos, paddle tail swim baits, & drop shot presentations of 4-5" baits of your choice. The smaliies will probably be near bottom near rock or weeds in deeper water. I have never fished for smallies in the south but plastics should rule. Deep diving jerk baits & crank baits are another option. Good luck with your trip.
  6. I'm going out to the store to buy some camo shorts right now!
  7. I thought you were talking about money!
  8. Josh thanks for doing what you do. Stay safe. I'm sure the bass are waiting for your return.
  9. I have had a MBR 844C imx ever since they first came out. I have used it for big pike & lake trout as well as a bass rod. A very versatile stick and will handle 1 oz & larger baits with ease. Its probably the best all around rod I have ever owned for jigs, spinner baits, swim baits & jerk baits.
  10. WTG Captain Shane. Special fish with a special buddy, dosen't grt any better.
  11. Quality fish A-Jay. I bet it felt pretty good to get on them. Jig bites are always fun.
  12. WTG on your great outing. I'm sure there was a lot of personal satisfaction putting Clay on that new pb.
  13. That girl has got big bass mojo. WTG Taylor.
  14. Just got back from our annual pike trip to lake Athabasca. Didn't get the numbers like last year but still had fun. Here are are two biggest pike for the week.
  15. Nice fish. She must have liked that jig as well.
  16. WTG Shimmy! I always knew you were a player.
  17. Great day. Thanks for the tip on the PopMax.
  18. Thanks for the motivation. Beauties for sure.
  19. Since you want a spinning rod I would suggest looking at a St croix legend tournament walleye spinning rod deep cranker model TWS70MHM & retails for $230. I have used this rod going on 2 years & highly recommend it for crank baits.
  20. What is your price range?
  21. When you put your pants on in the morning grab your boga grip & hook it into a belt loop. Handy way to keep it nearby but out of your way when fishing. Nice fish!
