  1. Sunrise on Headwaters.
  2. Well I'm not picking the team up north so go huskies.
  3. Congrats you really stepped up your game.
  4. @AlabamaSpothunter Keep the lid on those STX Zo wire hooks. We don't want to lose our advantage.😀
  5. @ol'crickety Katie 76 in March.
  6. @BassBlowup354 Based on your post I would look for a new source to service your reels in the future.
  7. I do weight training twice a week to maintain strength to live better & to fish. I supplement that with daily push ups & walking enough to stay limber without burning too many calories. I have difficultly putting on weight because of my past cancer & surgery history so I don't exercise as much as I could. But on the bright side I'll never be fat. Consecutive 8 hour fishing days is tiring at my age so I try to stay in shape to enjoy my fishing time & trips.
  8. @softwateronly Somebody likes spoons.
  9. Met DC does not have a conventional braking system where the individual brakes are either set on or off. It has a single digital brake control unit. So something doesn't sound right about your post?
  10. @RipzLipz Tim I'm not a FSU fan my but my fishing partner is and I told him that FSU would have been better to boycott the game after being denied entry by the playoff committee than to play with so many guys out. Your right that the bowl games don't mean much except for the guys playing for the championship. I would rather see them hold off on the portal entries until after the bowl game season is over.
  11. Just saying not the same team that went 13-0 More than 20 Seminoles players opted out of the bowl game, including backup quarterback Tate Rodemaker. Freshman Brock Glenn started the game for Florida State and struggled, throwing for 139 yards and two interceptions on 9 for 26 passing.2 days ago
  12. First trip of the new year.
  13. @BirdAlways a bittersweet day.
  14. Tranx 300 or curado 300 would be my choice. You could get by with a conquest 200.
  15. Mine is free in the state of Fl for residents over 65.
  16. Most 10 lb braid breaks around 17-18lb when tested. For most open water situations that’s more than adequate.
  17. John in case you have never tried it that port goes really well with dark chocolate & cashews.
  18. Morning on the big O.
  19. If you don’t want to use mono backing just put electrical tape around the spool one time and the braid will grip it without slipping.
  20. You can decrease the amount of dig in by using thicker braid like 50lb versus 20-30lb also spool it on under pressure like others have mentioned. The final point is never thumb the spool & pull back to get a snag unloose. That causes the braid to dig in. Instead loop the braid around a wooded dowel or pair of pliers or something else before pulling the snag loose.
  21. I have caught enough perch on Erie to know what your talking about regarding the emerald scale problem. I found if you clean the rod after each outing it takes care of the problem.
  22. I don’t soak my rods but I have fished all day in the rain and that never caused a problem unless my rain suit leaked.
  23. You guys took the words right out of my mouth. X2
  24. My condolences.
