  1. As I remember years ago they had a 20% discount but only 15% last few years.
  2. Absolutely beautiful. The colors & contrast are so brilliant & vivid. Don't hesitate to show us more.
  3. Try loosening the spool tension control knob almost completely. Then try moving the latch to the open position.
  4. Best I have found is Suffix 131/G-Core x13 Braid.
  5. She was a class act & a very talented entertainer that never looked her age.
  6. Get your butt up to Lake Erie for smallie fishing prespawn in April or May. You will catch a 5lber with a good chance at a 6 lber.
  7. Mexican bass love Yellow Magic in the magnum size 1/2 oz. I also heard a rumor that spro popping frogs work well down there cast right on the bank.
  8. Beautiful fish. Love the coloration. Congrats.
  9. Depending on the outcome Jimmy Butler is a serious contender for the playoff MVP as well. Both players have carried their teams on their backs.
  10. Take a look at the Loomis IMX Pro 901 S SJR it's 7'-6". Also check with @A-Jay and @Will Wetline they both are hair jig experts.
  11. X2 the 844 will do everything the 843 will do but with heavier baits. And it will handle bigger baits than the 1oz rating if needed.
  12. @gimruis You had a true quality outing congrats to you & your dad. @AlabamaSpothunter Nice score on that new bait. I haven’t got mine wet yet but you just motivated me.
  13. Your much better off if they total it out. If they repair it you loose money at the other end in trade in value or resale because of the accident report that follows your vin.
  14. X2 My choice as well
  15. I use uni to uni for braid to leader all the time without connecting knot failures. But I don't use flouro just plain mono like big game or copoly like Advance or Defier Armilo. Lube it well & cinch it up slowly. The best lube is plain old chapstick or lip balm.
  16. Your first choice the weather and the wind. It sucks to plan a fishing trip months in advance especially when it involves flying to your destination , car rentals & boat or guide rentals/reservations and the weather throws you a curve. Especially big water systems or foreign locations. It is what it is but it still sucks.
  17. High water has the greater effect to the fisherman. Fish will disperse into new shallow areas that didn't exist before which the fisherman can't readily access. But conversely falling water levels will generally concentrate the fish into areas that are known to the fisherman & readily accessible.
  18. I wouldn’t trust Gliss. Best I have used is Sufix 131. It’s G-Core x13 braid. Extremely limp slick surfaced round braid. Much better than Sufix 832.
  19. Definitely replace it. Stick a new tip top on the old rod & give it to a kid that fishes.
  20. World famous Doyle Brunson died yesterday at age 89. He was the godfather of Poker. A very soft spoken individual with a sharp wit. RIP Doyle Brunson.
  21. Watching how the bait react to your inputs shortens the learning curve.
  22. @Pat Brown I had a similar experience fishing a steep banked pond with a Hudd 68. It was definitely a DD but too heavy to flip up the bank. All I could do was to drag her up but while positioning to get her moving I must have given her the slightest amount of slack because sure enough the single hook popped loose as I got her head out of the water. Heartbreaking for sure. At least you know she is there for a second try. My sympathies.
  23. I always apply it before leaving the house. It lasts all day without having to reapply. I always wash my hands after applying so as not to transfer any odor from my hands.
