  1. By the way...If I am way off...I claim IDIOCY!!!!!!!!!
  2. Being a Dam Lake, does the release of eater have anything to do with the sandy type condition? Not a clue, just reaching as I research online.
  3. It is Kentucky Lake. Looks cool on google earth. The Land Between the Lakes in cool, and the amount of water to be fished looks amazing. The further down the lake, there are the same pattern of rocks or sand, as in this pic. What are the circle looking impressions that are in some of the "same" looking type structures down the lake? If you go south and look at some of the same type dark areas, you see what looks to be big circles in the sand or bank? I love this stuff. May be nothing, but looks cool.
  4. Cool. Just looked an unusual color.
  5. Not sure where this is going, but I do like that he put up a google earth pic, and asked people to dissect it in a way. Would like to see more of that kind a thing. As far as what I see...sand bar, or rocks of some sort...or deeper water. Like the little cove looking features. Also...looks warm!!!!!!!! The backs of the coves look good to one looks like it has a creek feeding in. The white shoreline is interesting to...what is that????? I am no expert, so....there it is. 8-)
  6. Just watched the show. Very tough conditions!!!! Glen ...Congrats...short clip, but was great to see you for the first time. If the weather was different, the feat of Salmon and Smallmouth Bass in the alloted time should be doable. It will be fun to try in the future I am sure for you. Either way, it was fun to watch, and again, congrats on the show and the part you played in it. Jamie
  7. No whisky here....but feel the same way. I am very psyched, and actually wonder how many times I have actually looked at this page in the last few months....close to a few hundred I bet! Feel your pain. Have a safe night.
  8. 1/16th oz. spider hook and a zoom baby brush hog (green pumpkin) and Jack's Juice Crawfish. 10 lb. Berkley Vanish Fleurocarbon. Up at lake Champlain. She went 5 lb. 3 oz.
  9. Great point. Thanks for the heads up.
  10. Sorry to hear that. I had a sewer back up into my finished basement due to lots of rain, and a crappy town sewer system. I had to have a professional cleaning service come in, and it was a real pain. Everytime it rains hard, in a short period of time, I get worried about a repeat of the flood. Good luck...and I feel for ya. I remember going down stairs, and seeing water running down into the basement, and thinking....that's not good. At one point, I just gave up.....there was nothing I could do from stopping the water from coming it. It came up from a shower drain...on our lower level...and then drained down to the finished basement. Good luck, and will keep you in our prayers. One for the strength to deal with the whole thing, and the other for a smooth clean-up. Good Luck Jamie
  11. Cards...end of story. I don't know much about football...just would like to see Kurt Warner win again. Peace.
  12. Vanish has always been a good confidence line for me. Usually 8-10 lb. for my spinning. have used others, but Vanish has caught me a lot of fish, and I just like it on my spinning tackle. I have not used fleuro on my bait casters, but will try this year. I look forward to some responses related to bait casters, so I can learn, and use some good info for this years set-ups. THX---- Good thread.
  13. Early morning BUZZER...or Popper...BLAM!!!!!!!!! Blow Ups would be SWEET!!!! Good Luck....
  14. There are some nice culverts South on Champlain...we usually hit them at least once a day, and usually get a nice bass on the first few casts. Would put together a nice start to a tournament, just fishing the Culvert Pattern. It's a blast knowing you're going to get bit once you throw in. Peace.
  15. SWEET!!!! I assume you'll be filling it in....looks great. I need to commit to a bass tattoo as well. Just not sure where...or what. Very Cool!
  16. I teach over in the Pennridge District. I am the huddle leader for FCA at our school. (Fellowship of Christian Athletes). See ya there. Jamie
  17. IMAC's rule!!!!!! Great for photos and the Time Machine Back up System is beyond AWESOME!!! Get an external HD (Got mine at Walmart for about $100)for the back-up, and you are gold! Apple is awesome as well for customer service. Good Luck! The MAC vs. PC ads are awesome to!!!! Check em' out on Youtube!
  18. South Bay...up at Champlain. SWEET!
  19. Flat out POOR!!!!!!!! A coach that runs up the score to 100-0 at a Christian school...PLEASE!!!!! School...by the way doesn't matter....it could have been bitty league in East Podunk (if you live there ...I apologize!) But to me "personally" the coach did not reflect the "message" that his school is based around. My two cents, and will not respond to others about anything...threads have been shut down for that reason...JUST MY OPINION. But I will enjoy reading the other responses! PS----LIFE IS NOT FAIR....I KNOW. "Do Unto Others......... (Think I have heard that somewhere????)
  20. Congratulations!!!!!! Being a DAD is such an AWESOME experience!!!!!! Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your new addition. Won't be long, and he'll have his Spiderman fishing rod! Hope all is well with MOM too. God Bless and Congrats!
  21. You could get it from his site, and he will autograph it for ya. Not a major life "autograph", but kinda nice to see it when you open it up...and there's a message from Shaw. Kinda cool.
  22. Jay Yelas's book is also a great read. They speak alot to me, and I am sure they will be great read for any guys here as well. I also have Jimmy Houston's Catch of the day...it's a daily Devotional book (for the whole year), that has small fishing tips, and is connected to scriptures....if you are into that.
  23. Have it, read it, and continue to re-read it most every week. I like how it has such short chapters....makes it an easy read. He has a great story. He was a ticking time bomb...almost ready to have a Heart Attack, then a complete stranger approached him...and it lead him to get a physical that found an almost 99% blockage in one of his arteries. He has one heck of a testimony. What a great book, and a great guy.
  24. I was supposed to see him a few years ago at the Bassmaster University in Harrisburg, but he was snowed out. He couldn't get in. Shaw Grigsby stayed an extra day, and he was great to spend a day with. I am psyched!
