  5. Thanks. With a birthday in February, I will keep looking and listening...hopefully I will have a nice cranking rod by the end of Feb. Thanks for the replies. There's a Gander Mountain in Harrisburg...may be they have it in there? Thanks- Jamie
  6. Was looking to get this rod for cranking...without breaking the bank. If any of you have any thoughts or reviews of Kistler, or similar rods, I'd greatly appreciate it. http://www.kistlerrods.com/p/KR/c-fr-crankbait-fishing-rods/MgCBCGGM70.html Thanks- Jamie
  7. Will keep all of them, and you in our prayers up here in PA. May God comfort all of you during this difficult time. I teach middle school and a soccer player of mine suffered a life altering stroke after one of my practices this year. All I can say is that prayers of hope, comfort, and restoration are answered!! God is GOOD! Our condolences to you and their family. God Bless- Jamie Boyertown, Pa
  8. In Boyertown Pa here. Last year fished the Fishers of Men Trail, and a buddy of mine won the "Tyding Tournament" down on the tidal flats. What a great fishing tour, and a great bunch of guys, and a truely magical day! I enjoy all kinds of fishing from Canada down to the Potomac. Haven't been here (site) for a while, but wanted to say hello. I actually have the boat on the back of the truck right now. Putting into storage tomorrow....but man, would love to head out!!!!! God Bless- Merry Christmas. Jamie

I tried the Quickswirl, and folks here pounded me, but it works awesome for changing cranks and topwater plugs, and I have been catching them non-stop, so the actions, as far as I can see, is not diminished. There's no line twist that I have found, since it has a bearing attached to the connector. Just another alternative to swivels- www.quickswirl.com -Jamie
  10. You always fish with a life vest on?
  11. How does one aquire the Mojo...? Send it this way... Thanks- Jamie
  12. Casting Crowns for Me...Simply AWESOME!!! -Jamie
  13. What an awesome thread!!!!! It's cool to see what everyone is like...other than just a posted screen name. Thanks for taking the time to post such cool stats and pics. Jamie
  14. I'll take that time...until then, enjoy your viruses and crash issues. **** Probably just mega hexed myself...but we'll just take it one day at a time. Gotta love those MAC commercials though. " Time Machine Back-Ups RULE!!!!" Peace- Jamie
  15. Drive the 10-15 miles and drop in at Ticonderoga--if you can afford the time, you'll have so much more fishing opportunities, and numbers, just my opinion. Even if it's only a day, it's worth it. Good luck! Jamie
  16. I struggled with this...then followed my passion...sports. I got a Health and Pe degree...and now I have Summers off to fish, and spend time with my family. Time off is priceless...just my 2 cents. It took me a while to listen to my heart, but now, after 14 years of teaching and coaching...I wouldn't trade it for the World! God Bless- and Good Luck! Jamie
  17. Baby Brush Hog (Green Pumpkin) and a Shallow to Med. Diving crankBait...Shad or Chart.
  18. Thanks- I hope to find a place a bit closer, and have been searching with google earth. It's hard because you can see ponds/lakes, but not the details too clearly around them. There seems to be a few nice bodies of water on Roanoke Island? Anyone ever fished there? Thanks for the replies. Jamie
  19. Thanks for the info. I don't have sea legs, and would like to do some fishing...so maybe I still can. I was also going to try fishing fom one of the pier bridges....seems fun, and can still be a bit of a land lubber. Why is it, I can roll up and down on a lake all day, put me in the ocean...and splam!!!! Thanks- Jamie
  20. I am coming down for a family vacation August 9-16th, and was wondering if there was any good bass fishing inland...not too far? If anyone was interested in hosting a day on the water, or knew a good place to get a guide, etc...that'd be great. I Live in Boyertown, Pa- and could offer some type of guided (as if I were a guide) on the Potomac, or the Chesapeake (Upper Bay ) in return. Thanks for reading.. Jamie God Bless-
  21. Strike King----Chartreuse and Red Bleeder bait Hook---right out of the box from Walmart. Have caught more bass on that, than all othe top waters combined! I could get a few of those for the price of some others....but it doesn't matter, as long as we are all smacking them down!!!! Here's a pic of my sweetie pie...BUZZER!
  22. Used for 2 days straight on crankbaits, and was a breeze to change lures. If they are not new, it's new to me. I bought 10 before the trip, and have 10 left. No toothy critters bit me off...luckily! Good fishing, Jamie
  23. Won't be up there again till next year, but will be fishing down at the Chesapeake for my next Fishers of Men Tournament in July...we shall see! I had a crankbait epihany this weekend...never caught many until now, and have come to realize the importance of the crankbait as a tool in the arsenal! Peace- Jamie
  24. I found one the color you seem to like..on a Strike King (out of the box from Walmart) chartuse with red bleeder hook. 3-4 lber...I figured. Peace. Jamie
  25. Had a great 3 and ahalf days....caught this Largemouth on a Brush Hog, and weighed (scale said) 4.15 and 5.03, so calling her my first 5lb er!!!! Caught all kids of fish including my fist Walleye (5lber) and many others. Enjoy the pic! Jamie
