  1. Very Nice.. Thanks for the post. If we all post there could be thousands of awesome boat pics here....come on guys......just do it!!! "Kinda annoying i know, just thought this would be a cool picture post thread..." Peace------
  2. Nice boat..thanks for the pic. To the rest of you...wake up...and post them pics! Peace
  3. No problems...I am a bit curious myself...just know it's a pain to untie, and re-tie, etc....who knows....I may come back, tell all here it's awesome, and they'll sell out in a few days.....well let's catch one fish first! Peace
  4. Don't know if it's been done lately, but show your ride, and any other pertinent info. See where this goes. Mines a 1997 Stratos 282 DC with a 175 Johnson FastStrike. Was windsheildless in this pic, because they both were broken in a freak act of stupidity...don't ask! The boat is named: "Skoolzout" ( I am a teacher Health and PE) I also have on the back left side: Psalms 118:24 What do you got?
  5. Does anyone here fish Champlain? Seems these posts never get too much response...seems strange actually...either way....fishing Champ Sun-Wed...BABY!!!! SWEET!
  6. Guess so. Not going to knock it till I try it...maybe it will catch me a fancy dancy bass...as you put it!!!!! Peace- Jamie
  7. That's why I spent a whole $10.00 to try it out. We'll see next weekend...I guess. My goal is a 5 lb'er would be a personal best...let's see if the "quickswirl" will make it happen!!!!
  8. Good for you! Would have been priceless to see his face when he got back to the ramp and tried to pull his boat out with 4 flats. Good fishing.
  9. I can't believe no one wants to comment...weak!!!!
  10. Just ordered the 1/8th and the 1/16th oz. spider classic 20 pack. will do me well for my trip to Champlain and the next few Fishers of men tournies. These hooks rock!!!! Had on a few years back inhale the Brush Hog, had a rough fight, and the hook bent, which happens with these, and it actulaly bent right around the fishes jaw, and sealed his (temporary) fait. Took third that tournament at Cayuga Lake in NY. I l love these things. Tough part I have found is that you get so accustomed to throwing them, that when you think you should throw something else, it's a tough one for the mind to take. I started throwing regular Texas rigged with a bullet weight last tournie, and did great, but felt weird not using the slider, like I niormally do. Either way--- Take Care- Jamie
  11. Just ordered the quickswirl lure removal "device". It was in BassMaster this past edition, looks cool, and thought I'd check it our. It allows you to remove (they say) crankbaits, etc...with a swirl, and then put a new one on. We shall see. if you want to see it, visit www.quickswirl.com Looks cool, but will it work? I got the one with the swivel attached. Either way----peace Jamie 8-)
  12. We are heading up Sat. night and will be at the ramp Sunday the 22nd at first light. Any bassresource guys/gals that are from there would like to say hey, or fish, stop on by and say hi! We are there from Sun-Wed, and would love to meet new folks. If you want to get a fun half day tournie, or just cool fellowship, drop a line. I am excited to fish, and we are bringing two boats. Look for a White Yukon towing a Teal Stratos, and a White GMC Towing a White Ranger (Not as Awesome as the Stratos I Know,....but...) Either way, I have a goal of a 5 lb' er this week, and maybe it will happen, either way, I am fishing at one of the best fisheries in the country!!!!! God Bless--- Drop a line if you are near. Jamie The pic is the Ticonderoga ramp, and I love to see that when I look over my shoulder, because i know that I am actually there, not just one of my many bass fishing dreams... Take Care----
  13. I use the 1/8- 1/16th oz. spider head 2 3/4" with a baby brush hog-or yamamoto crayfish, and have awesome hook-up ratio's. I throw them out, and then slow hop back a few times, then reel in. Most strikes will come on the first few pick ups. I only raise the rod tip a few inches. They are a great hook, but do bend up more easily that others. I have one on, and fish them with most of my finesse baits. Good Luck- Jamie
  14. Catch a ton on 1/16th oz. Spider head slider hook and Green pumpkin baby brush hogs...with a pinch of Jacks Juice Crawfish . Have posted this so many times, but it is what I use most of the time. PCE B WTH U Jamie
  15. Glad to see things are looking up for you. Way to go Bassresource guys- you're the best! God Bless- Jamie Boyertownn, Pa Psalms 118:24 "This is the day the Lord hath made, be glad and rejoice in it" 8-)
  16. Money- "Earn all you can, Save all you can, and GIVE all you can". Follow what your heart is saying...a small blessing can go a long way.
  17. Here -Here HawgChaser! Bass don't know if it's a quantum or a barbie rod.....so just go out there and WHACK-EM"!
  18. I have a Trion, and love it. It casts nicely, and feels great in my hand. Personally, more expensive reels are better I guess, but I can only really justify a reel under 200$. I would recommend it, and would continue using it, as well. I can't get into a more expensive battle about reels, because I have never fished on over the $200.00 range. Good luck, and great fishing...I have 4 Quantums and one Pfleuger...none have give me any problems...just results. Take Care- Jamie
  19. Fishing should be fun...sounds like it has lost it's luster with this group. Look around and find another club. We fish the Fishers of Men Tournament Trail and have a blast----fellowship dinners on Friday, and a one day Tourney on Sat. Great bunch of guys that respect, and treat each other with the utmost respect. When you find a club that fits, it is great, until then, I can appreciate all of your gripes. Fishing (unless it's for Thousands of dollars) is about the fellowship, and sharing of knowledge and times on the water. Good luck fishing, and good luck with the clubs and tournies. Organized bass fishing is fun, as long as you connect with the right guys/gals. If all fails, you could start your own club...you never know. Take Care- Jamie Boyertown, Pa
  20. Last Summer, Lake Champlain- 4.82lb. I am going up the 22nd-25th and hope to hit a 5lber. Here's the pic. used a slider 1/8th oz. spider head, green pumpkin baby rush hog, and a dash of Jack's Juice crawfish. Caught in 14' on a hot day in June of last year. Leaving out of Ti the 22nd at first light (see ya there!) Jamie
  21. All of my Pfleuger President Spinning reels are on the Abu Garcia Conolon Primier. (spelled wrong) They sell at Walmart for $39.00. I just bought a 2 piece 7' medium light action. Have caught 4lbers. on them, and no problems. I have never had a any eyelet problems yet, but at $39.00...I can get a new one if there's a problem. I prefer the 1 piece, but got the 2 piece by mistake, but my first 7' spinning rod. Great rod---even greater price. I know it's no Kistler, but it works. Peace- Jamie
  22. Upon further review...the Diawa is in a nice price range. Maybe I will have to check them out next time I am in the market. If my Quantum ever breaks.... Cool!!!!
  23. I love my JUNKY Quantums! I have 5 of them, and have never had one problem with them. Maybe you are doing something wrong with yours? Anyway---it's a great reel for those like me on a budget. JUNKY QUANTUMS RULE!!!!!!!! 8-)
  24. Just got a Quantum Energy PT tonight for $99.00 at Cabelas...great reel for a great price. Got the 5:1:1 for crankbaits. Rung up at the register for $189.00, then they corrected the price. Either way...great looking and feeling reel. http://www.***.com/descpageRLCQUANTUM-QEPRC.html Thanks- Jamie
  25. Thanks for the replies...makes my purchase all the more confusing, which is good, that way it will be an educated purchase!!! Thanks-
