  1. I am going to try and take the trolling motor off this afternoon, and see what kind of clearance I have, if any, under the motor. If I have some room, I will simply add a nut, if not, I will pick up some of the isolator bolts, or something like it, to tighten up the works. Thanks for the reply. Jamie
  2. Just printed out the isolators from Cabelas, seems like a easy fix- most replied that the bolts were too short, and had to get longer ones. If I can't gain access from under the trolling motor, these will probably be the fix. thanks for the info- I am a better man today, because I have learned something new. Thanks again. Jamie :
  3. Gee-----a whole world I know nothing about. here we go... It's a motorguide, bow mount to a fiberglass Stratos. It has those rubber thingies, so I may try some hints from the last 2 post, about new bolts, or expanders. Thanks for the help.
  4. No- I haven't. Could be an option to look into, thanks.
  5. Anyone ever replaced their boat seats for a 282 dc, or any other stratos with the two main seats, and the smaller fold down style in the middle? Price is an issue, so use them again this year, or be led by someone here to an outstanding idea? Thanks for the read. Been searching online, and gets mega pricey for new set. Either way, thanks again.
  6. the trolling motor just rocks. I should take it off, and see what is going on. I have never taken it off, so that may reveal something. Thanks-
  7. If that's the case, (weak)- any suggestions? Or just keep on tightening regularly? THX
  8. My trolling motor rocks ever so slightly, and I have tightened up the main screws that hold it down. It seems no matter how hard I tighten them, it still rocks. Wanted to know if you have ever encountered this, and what solutions you may have used. I bought the boat used, so install of trolling motor was before my time with the boat. I guess I am just looking for a way to tighten up the connection between the trolling motor and the gunewall. (sp?) Either way, thanks for the read. I am always learning about my boat, and any information would be greatly absorbed, and appreciated. Jamie
  9. I hope all caught my "connecting with others" portion of my post. Count me in for the tourney.
  10. May God Bless you and your family. I know that for me, my little girl was my Angel, and she changed my life. May your new arrival be a blessing to you, and may God watch over you and your family always. God Bless- and Congrats from: Jamie Boyertown, Pa. PS- What a Handsome young MAN!
  11. Fished there last year hard all day, and believe me, there was not one fish that was weighed in for the tourney. We caught fish, but all dinks. Had decent fisherman, as well, an still no one weighed a fish. Hear me correctly, nice place to fish, but a weigh in with 8-10 boats with no fish was not too exciting. Would make the trip though, to meet up with guys here. Not a hater here, just recollecting a trip that yeilded not many "longer fish" Peace!
  12. Not the worlds greatest place to fish, nice, but trolling motor only. Kinda takes away from the 'vroooooom" factor. Would like to see a Chesapeake, or Potomac, or Oneida, even better, Champlain Tourney! SWEET!!!!!
  13. I haven't read all the posts here, but as a boater now, I understand all the responsibilities as such. It is nice, though, to have a guy when you're a rider, give you the time, and consideration you are due. Thanks to all the awesome boaters out there, and the riders, we all have things to learn from one another. Either way, finding the fish is both participants job- and ultimate goal. Never Give Up!
  14. Seems like this should be an everything else post....possible move coming? Place bets....... (all in fun) 8-)
  15. I'll check it out. Might be unpopular, but that's OK---- I enjoy reading various books about Bass, and will see for myself. Not being from that neck of the woods, I would have no idea of the "issues" surrounding him. Either way...peace out Blue Dolphins!

Done- cool survey. let us know any results or data that is compiled. Thanks- Boyertown, Pa
  17. Check out Damons Point- have had great success there early with top water buzz baits (neon green strike king) . Also had been getting bit on yamamoto green pumpkin crawfish, on a slider hook. If I was going there in the near future, I'd start there. Seemed to do well on anything green pumpkin. Tubes, brush hogs, etc. Watch the rocks- have heard horror stories about damaged boats. Also fished across the lake at Cleveland- there is a rock jetty over there- be careful , but seemed to hold a nice limit of fish. Good luck-
  18. It comes on, and I see the 40th anniversary sign at 3:20 We'll see.
  19. Seems like it's loading- at 3:10- but before was just a white screen- we'll see.
  20. Referring to the "Hooked Up" section.
  21. Are we able to watch weigh-ins as a basic member, or must we be a Bass Insider? I am looking ahead to 3:30 for weigh-ins Just curious?
  22. They would kill up at Champlain in the early morning! BaaaaBoooooommmm! 5 pounda
  23. Jacks Juice- Craw Fish
  24. Saw a Linders Angling Edge about the Rapala Sub Walk- of course they were hammering smallies, looked sweet. Was wondering if anyone in here has used them, and what results you had. I think they are new, so those in warmer climates may have "field tested" them before guys up here in the Northeast. Either way, have you used them, and what's your thoughts? Looks like, from the show, that the Smallies, and Bass went crazy. It is a walk the dog style lure, but it sits about 2' under the surface, and when jerked, it darts backs and forth under the water , like a top water "walk the dog". Thanks- may head to Cabelas today, and pick up a few colors of them. Boyertown, Pa.
