a standard for measuring casting accuracy
Rarely cast overhead with a baitcaster....that's me. Spinning tackle yes, but baitcaster usually a side arm cast. I am no pro, just have had a miserable outcome with most "cranked up" overhead casts.

a standard for measuring casting accuracy
8 out of 10...I'd imagine, never really did any trials. The tire is about 15-20 feet from me...never really measured. I just look at something, and pitch. It has been a great practice place for me.

a standard for measuring casting accuracy
Just was out there, and it all came together. I cast into the yard at leaves, etc, then under the end of the slide, and threw to the rope ladder in the back, and I have all kinds of fence posts, and obstacles to pitch around. Has been kinda fun. Daughter loves it, she pics it up, and pulls a little, then drops it. Have yet to set the hook....

a standard for measuring casting accuracy
Have been pitching in the back yard on top of a nice stump. I have been using the swing set as a dock, and pitching up under the structure. I'd say I put a good 20 min a day lately pitching in the back yard. I pick a target and just pitch. Can land softly pretty much most of the time. I have been using a 1/2 oz jig with the hook cut off. I haven't caught anything yet, other than strange looks from the neighbors. I attached a pic for my pitching practice area. I even pitch into the tire swing for the sweet spot. Enjoy. Someone suggested pitching from an elevated platform, and the big stump in the foreground works just great.

What brand computer?
Nothin better than an IMac. (IMO) Would never buy another computer again. I am no computer genius, but have never had any problems with mine, and with an Apple store so close, any small problem, or issue is dealt with so quickly.

Prayers
We have a very strong connection with faith, and His will be done. I am upset for my wife, and what she will she to go through, surgery, but I am thankful for all the blessing we have been given so far. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. It will be a tough little slide for us, but like I said, this is a Valley....which will only make our family stronger, but ultimately closer. God Bless you and yours. Jamie

Prayers
Just ask you guys to keep my wife and I in your prayers. Last night we had a 12 week appointment for our 2nd child, and they didn't find a heartbeat. Today we went to an ultrasound, and we found out that my wife had a miscarriage. We have been leaning on our faith, but this is one of the Valleys that we have to walk through together. If you could keep Jamie, Holly, and our daughter Lauren in your prayers, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance for your prayers- Jamie

Pitching a Jig
Have been working on pitching a jig (this is my goal for this season- throw it more and catch some fish on it). How far would you say that you will pitch a jig at the farthest? Just curious. I am working in the garage and outside, and would say I may be at 30' at the farthest. Just curious. If you have a target (say a hole in a mat, or the edge of a dock) How far will you place the boat away from the target? Any replies will be helpful. THX!

Yes- maybe that was the problem in my post. The wrong Verbage.... OK---I am an idiot!!!!!!!! I mean attach something to a PM from another member.

Attachments in E-mails
I am saying this: If you send me an PM in this forum. I get it, and want to reply. I see no place on the bassresource screen that allows me to attach anything to a reply. I understand how to attach things in a yahoo or other forum. A guy asked for a few GPS coordinates, and unless I have his private e-mail (not BR PM)....I can not send him n attachment through bassresource PM. Am I missing anything??? I am fairly/super confident in using computers...I am just asking about a button for attachments here, when responding to a fellow forum members PM. A simple task that I may have made seem confusing due to wording???

Attachments in E-mails
I can't find a way to attach something to an e-mail when I reply to other members PM. Ex: Fred wants gps cord. I send him a reply and want to attach a pdf with coordinates and a pic. Can't see how to do this??
