There was a company a the st.louis boat show i believe they were called gaffen but i could be wrong, they seemed like they had good rods, i was wondering if anybody has ever used them?

I was wondering if anybody has heard anything about the new wide spool spinning reels, i know that U.S. reel company i think makes them and that bass pro has thier version. Just wondering what the deel is?

I asked this question to the smallie guys and didn't get much of a reply, thanks to those who did though. What are the lures of preference for night time fishing?

For you guys that have trouble getting the spinner to take off, give the rooster tail a little tug right before you start your retrieve. As long as you don't slow it down too much the blade should spin all the way in.

When a river comes up does it push enough fish up into the creeks that feed it, to make those creeks worth fishing?

I wad a local stream sometimes at night trying to catch a smallie or two. But i have yet to prevail, Does anybody know a good lure for night time smallies?

I have been fishing a local stream for the past three years and have done decent with the smallies. I mainly use roostertails, Anybody else have any luck with the classic lure?
