  1. TF, I often see racism at football games around here. Mostly between all white and all black schools. It doesn't really happen at my school, as we are diversified. It's sad that people can't accept that what they are doing is wrong and move on.
  2. Dave, this is my attitude toward school projects. If you are forced to do something you don't enjoy doing, then you are going to BS your way through it just to get it done, which accomplishes nothing by a scientific viewpoint. Choose something that you enjoy, something that you actually want to make a difference in. It will more meaningful and successful this way. I love getting together with my "smart" friends and having intelligent conversations. We call it our "think tank". Go change the world, and have fun doing it!
  3. Did you really have to embed the audio? : Of course! That's the sound of V-I-C-T-O-R-Y!
  4. A fellow member from Virginia (who will go unnamed) has been stirring this up lately. Here's my list. Southeast: VA, WV, KY, AR, TN, LA, MS, AL, GA, NC, SC, FL The south would include the above, along with TX and OK
  5. GO TO A GOOD BOW SHOP! They can personally set up you're length, change your draw weight, and give you general advice. Like I said, I'm still new to bowhunting. I'd be lost without my pro shop.
  6. Archery can be very expensive. My current bow is a 2004 model. I got it about a year ago for around $400, not counting a sight, quiver, rest, arrows, etc. It can get expensive fast. There are some nice bows out there for reasonable prices. It's all about practice. If you put in enough time with any bow, you're going to be successful. I shoot for about an hour a day a few times a week in the summer and fall.
  7. I'm relativey new to bowhunting as well. My current set up is a Bowtech Liberty @ 70lbs. I've shot Bowtech's, Mathew's, and Hoyt. They're all good bows. My favorite has to be the Bowtech 82 Airborne. That was one SWEET shooting bow.
  8. Do you know where the south is Burley? ;D You didn't think AR was in the south either.
  9. Yes. Most people prefer to be in a blind or stand rather than on the ground unconcealed. If you do take a ground blind while bowhunting, make sure it's big enough for you to draw your bow back in.
  10. Around here it is. We can take ground blinds, climbing stand, etc. I'd check local regulations first though. Some things are illegal in certain places, like using screw in steps.
  11. What are the restrictions, as far as fire, explosives, biochemical hazards, etc.
  12. I forgot to throw the gang signs. ;D
  13. After a few threads he made a few weeks ago... http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,434024,00.html
  14. I would set the tanks up, and then bring them in before school the next day.
  15. I'll give everybody some music to listen to while reading this thread. http://www.soonersportsmedia.com/audio/boomer_sooner_with_intro.mp3 One of the most recognizable college fight songs in the country, 'Boomer Sooner' immediately evokes enthusiasm from OU fans and sends chills down the spines of those who dare to oppose them.
  16. Am I the only person who uses Yahoo? That's odd.
  17. The LCS are best of 7, not best of 5. Hence, the Sox win win 4-2 Gotta love fairweather fans with no knowledge of the sport. So true... :-X
  18. Burley, what game cam are you using?
  19. The LCS are best of 7, not best of 5. Hence, the Sox win win 4-2
  20. The winner of the ALCS will win the WS.
  21. Tell me about it. I'm not a huge NFL fan, but I watch the Vikings to see AD play. They're really dissapointing me so far this year.
  22. I saw that on the replay. He's lucky Napoli didn't put his entire weight on his hand. Manny Who? ;D Don't say that yet. Knowing our history he will hit the game winning home run in game 7 at Fenway in the WS and begin another 86 year curse. We don't have to worry about that. He'll be out for the series with a concussin after Beckett nails him.
  23. I saw that on the replay. He's lucky Napoli didn't put his entire weight on his hand. Manny Who? ;D
