Manny worn out his welcome?
I've got mixed feelings about Manny. He is a great player no doubt, but he is pushing things a little too far.

Oil in The Mississippi
At least people are taking responsibility and were prepared to handle it. It shouldn't affect the water. Oil is can be removed quite easily from the water.

I'm done.
I can read practically anything. I've been reading a lot of thrillers lately, but I'm open to everything. I've read basically all of the "classics" -most of them are required by my English class. I'll have to buy Atlas Shrugged. I head it's over 1 billion pages long, so it should keep me occupied for a few days. :

Micro cranks
Marty, do you use a thinner layer of epoxy on the smaller cranks, or does the regular thick topcoat not affect the action of the crank?

I'm looking for a new knife
Most gerber knives are made with 440 steel. I'm wanting 154cm, which is a better quality steel and holds it's edge considerable better than 440. I thought about going to D2, but I've always heard it's a pain to sharpen.

I'm done.
I've read Slaughter-house five and The Red Badge of Courage. I've got a few Vonnegut books in the closet I will have to dig out. Muddy, I read The Invisible Man by HG Wells. I'll have to look into Atlas Shrugged. It isn't a long psychological maze is it?

Don't worry man, I've been playing spider solitaire a lot lately. :-/

I'm done.
That is, with the books I bought to read this summer. So far, I've read: 9 of Robert Ludlum's books. ( I thoroughly enjoyed all of them with the exception of "The Road to Gandolfo") I have now read every book authored by Ludlum. Frankenstein 1984 Animal Farm Closing Time - started a long time ago, just finished it. April Morning Dog Years The Shack The Guns of August Picture of Dorian Gray Invisible Man That being said, I'm looking for more books to read. I've still got 3 weeks until school start. I'm sure there's a few book worms surfing the forums, so give me your recommendations.

I'm looking for a new knife
I really like having a serrated edge when I need it, but I like the control a plain edge can give you near the grip. I might get a plain edge for personal carry and carry my old gerber to work, were I use the serrated edge 90% of the time.

I'm looking for a new knife
I went to look at a few this morning. I found out that I like the Benchmade's better than the SOG in person. The guy at the store showed me his own mini grip that he carries everyday, which was sharpened a lot better than factory. The main reason I want a serrated edge is for cutting rope (which I find myself doing a lot for some strange reason). He said that he had no problems cutting rope with his plain edge. But I'm still a weary that the plain edge will be insufficient at this. I'd appreciate any feedback in this area. Here's what I narrowed it down to: http://www.knifeworks.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=1670 http://www.knifeworks.com/index.asp?PageAction=VIEWPROD&ProdID=7677 I really like the coated blade, but I'm afraid it will start chipping off after use. They were $80 at the shop, so I'll probably end up ordering whatever I choose online.
