I've used mine to power a drying wheel at VERY low speeds and I haven't noticed any damage or slip in performance. Like frogtog said, it's pretty much what they were designed for.

That is because no forum but this one also cares about the safety of others. Think of other people besides your self for a second. You don't OWN that boat unless you have the title. If the title is still in the original guy's name, he still owns it. I don't care who he gave it to. I'm also worried about such a big motor on a small boat. It's unsafe for you and others on the water.

I use 3 lines. Trilene Big game for my baitcasters. Don't hate. As for my spinning outfits (which I use 70% of the time) I prefer Yo-zuri US. Like everyone said, it's mixture of strength toughness and castability is amazing. The third line is Trilene XL. I use this line on my spinning outfits when I run out of US.

If you don't want to spend the big $$$ for a sonar, look into getting a good map of the lake. My favorite lake to fish during the summer is absolutely brutal at times, I don't know what I'd do without a map.

For a standard 7.5'' worm, I'd go with an offset 4/0. I only use EWG when the worm is very thick and I have to. My tackle box is starting to flood with Owner hooks.
