Ok so I have a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo 4x4, and Im looking at getting a Triton 18 Explorer. I can tow about 2500 pounds safely. i was curius as to how much a boat and trailer weights. So if you guys could please post your weights so i can get an idea that would be awesome.

what about stuff like how to get all the stuff i need included in the package stuff like boat care stuff, follow-on service, and warranties. i dont have the greatest credit in the world (MID 600's) and i hope i can get the Triton 09' 17'Explorer for low montly payments what do you guys think

one thing i would mention is learn to stick with one or two companys. the reason is, is that youll know and learn the feel of them for instance i only use shimano reels, curado's citica's and symetre's for spinning. i know them all like the back of my hand now that ive pulled them apart and cleaned and inspected then throughly. and with rods you really need to get used to rods, it will highly increase your catch ration. i like castaways and american rodsmiths.

hey guys im moving in november to Killeen/ Ft Hood, texas, and when i get there ill be looking at buying a new boat. im looking at either the Triton 18 explorer or the Nitro X5. can you guys please school me on the art of buying a new rig. rage tail for bigger jigs so you can just bite it down to size or i like the rage chunk for smaller profile jigs

spray it on a soft rag. while you are spooling up hold the line between your fingers while spooling. and then when you go fish cast as far as you can and then give it a good spray around the spool, reel up spray more, reel up spray more...... until you've reel it all in

it measured 29.4 in legth unsure on girth. perrys measured 32.5 and its girth was 28.5

Well did you atleast fx the ladies issue. just the other day i was at academy and a guy bought a new reel and a rod only i noticed he had a spinning reel and a trigger rod. so i helped him out i even went as far as making sure had the right tackle, and also gave him some basic info cause i must say he had no clue what he was doing. so i felt good and he was happy

Yes you most definatly can this is know as back spooling. ANy and all experienced bass fisherman should do this its saves money, time. the way i do it is ill use old line and spool up about 1/2 way then ill tie the new line on with a knot and continue spooling. you can also tie on with a small swivel or use tape which works also

personally if i had to measure it id go 90/10. i personally believe in my ability and al others should to knowone should limit themselves too the time or knowledge they have. its all learning and it comes with time.
