  2. HEY! Welcome to the forums. I myself am pretty new. You'll find that these guys have a lot of good tips, tricks and advice to give. But during mid day i like to try and fish areas where there's a lot of shade or over hangs near the water or very weedy areas.
  3. i have a plano tackle box and i just throw the bags in the bottom and the ones ive used if they arent to torn up i store them in one of the slots.

  8. if i were you I know I'd buy a Rapala JSR-7 or JSR-5, in blue silver and orange. I myself have 4 of these and they never fail me. I've always caught somethin on them. I'd also make sure be for you go buy anything that your ok on terminal tackle so you know if you need to buy any or not. and ummm maybe some shaky heads and some finesse worms or somethin.

  10. If you don't mind me askin' what are some pretty good spots around or outside of louisville? but not to far out. like maybe 30 minute or an hours drive. I'm lookin for some new places to fish and can't really seem to find anything. so if you could help me out it would be much appreciated
  11. hey thanks man, i found some on Ebay for really cheap but its not buy it now so its a gamble. but could you tell me anything about the whip with these reels? my friend owns a baitcast reel and it would get a lot of "whip" or whatever you'd like to call it and so the line would always tangle up on the spool
  12. I know here in kentucky they have laws about how big a fish has to be in order to keep it. If the state your in has the same type of laws and the other fisherman was following these laws when he kept the fish, than i dont see a problem with it. I myself am a catch and release kind of guy, but i know others have different beliefs and views and i respect that. Some times when im out somewhere i see guys keep fish and i think to myself "why would he keep something of that size?" or something along those lines, but i dont say anything to them because this sort of thing is kind of like politics, People have different views and opinions and its better you just kept them to yourself. I don't want you to feel like I'm attacking you or criticizing you in anyway but some things are just better off left alone. I know sometimes its hard to keep your opinions to yourself when you feel strongly about something but sometimes it just has to be done. best of luck fishing, -Sambrochill///

  19. So today i went out to a small pond and i was fishing for an hour and a half maybe two hours and it was pretty eventful. I ended up catching a total of 8 fish six being bluegill and the other two being small, small mouth. its days like these that remind me why i love fishing so much, it gives you time to relax and think and also its very fun and can be a great bonding experience.
