Pittsburgh Steeler fan here but I was rooting for the Ravens today. If Pitt can beat San Deigo tomorrow, they play the Ravens for the 3rd time this year and it will be in Pittsburgh.

No, none at all. When oil prices are rising, retail stations justify immediate mark-ups for "replacement cost". When they are falling the excuse for lagging is the cost already incurred. Either way, the consumer gets screwed! Hit the nail on the head there. I was gonna be more blunt about it and just call it GREED. Either way you say it, it ticks me off. Notice how the cost of food, building materials, etc still haven't come down to match the plummeting oil/gas prices. Again, GREED. The GREED involved with the runup of oil/gas had more of a disastrous effect on the economy than the mortgage/bank crisis. >

I agree with whoever posted that the window to catch the WR is indeed very small. Being at the right place at the right time with the right bait. And just like the lottery is often won by older people (with no chance of collecting 20-30 annual payments) you know the WR will be caught by a novice throwing a stinkin' banjo minnow or something lame. :'(

Anyone else try IE7 and uninstall it like me? I'm a creature of habit and didn't care for it (reminds me too much of Vista which I hate).

I hardly get to watch that much consistent primetime TV so I haven't caught that many episodes of this program. On a related note, I just got done watching 'Mirrors' with Keifer Sutherland. Didn't really care for it but if you like horror, it did have some pretty gruesome parts.

I hail from the South side of Pittsburgh, PA (pronounced Sa-Side) and because of snow, potholes, narrow streets, pollution, incessant roadwork and having seen a bit of the world (via the military) I KNOW it's not the greatest place on Earth. The greatest place on Earth is where my wife and kids are so that would be Atlanta, GA currently. I don't want to live north of Georgia ever again just due to the cold/snow. Don't pity a happy man; I'm truly blessed. Oh and my grandfather (I'm 40) came over on the boat. He actually had to change our last name a little to protect his family.

Great looking game Paul but I'm a diehard PC gamer and my video card won't handle that (required Video Memory: 256MB (nVidia GeForce 6800/ATI Radeon X1600 Pro (Shader 3.0 support) I can't get used to the game controllers on Xbox or Playstation but I am thinking about getting a PS3 for the Blueray capability (it ranks up there for the blueray playing) I am playing Left 4 Dead which is no where near the game Dead Space is but it does have some change your shorts moments. Good for you that you're doing it yourself. 8-) Alot of people pay dearly for convenience when if they'd do a little research and give themselves some credit, they could save mucho $$. Start with small projects and seek advice from a knowledgeable person, and you can tackle alot of repairs yourself. Of course, there ARE some things you have to pay to have done. Brain surgery, vasectomies (which can in fact be brain surgery ), etc....

Good posting right there. 8-) Worked in repair for aircraft and HVAC; NEVER assume what's written up is actually occurring and always DOUBLE the time estimate you think. The mechanic needs to judge for himself. Finding a good local mechanic can be difficult. At some point you have to trust them and put aside the mindset they're all out to screw you out of $$.

Could be any number of things. 1. When's the last time you ran a virus check, a spyware check, adware check. Run all those first to see if you've gotten a virus or something. I say do this first because it doesn't require much effort. 2. Have you tried doing a system restore? Try that next. 3. Do you have another monitor you could hook it up to? Try that next. If it's doing the same, move onto #4. 4. Possible bad video card or a corrupted driver. Make sure you have the latest driver for it or at least have the disk for the video card/motherboard before uninstalling video card. Reinstall the video card and reload the driver. It's always a good idea to post what your computer's specs are. Processor, onboard video, amount of RAM, Operating System (OS), etc.

You know everyone in the media is blaming this whole crisis on bank's and mortgages but they should also be looking at WHY people are defaulting on loans at an unprecedented rate. Sure, alot of people got approved for loans that they had no business getting but there are alot of folks losing their homes/cars because of the price of gas has nearly tripled in the past 4 years. The average joe can't pass this increase off to customers and the employers are certainly not paying them more just because fuel is up. The rise in gas has also raised the price of EVERYTHING and household budgets have gone out the window. People have to work and put food on the table so the housenote is the last bill being paid each month. Suppose the government bails out all the banks then people losing their homes with more loans. :-? They STILL don't have the money to pay so how the hell is that helping bring us out of this? Only way to fix this d**n economy is to lower people's/companies expenses; GAS PRICES. Step in and regulate the price per gallon back down to say $1.80 a gallon and watch as the red ink starts to disappear and companies get back in the black. The oil companies have made their nest egg and need to be throttled back now. And as far as the U.S. getting it's oil, well we should be getting a HUGE discount from Iraqi Oil for our work there. Guess I'm just ticked at everyone pointing fingers at everyone EXCEPT at the Oil Companies and speculators driving the cost up. Sorry about the rant. >

I'm pretty sure he was just saying that another falsehood in movies is how they portray the south as racist rednecks not that WV is in the south. IRT topic: with the Presidential Election getting closer and closer, expect to hear from Hollywood about how 'if Obama doesn't win civil rights will be set back 100 years' or 'if McCain/Palin get elected, the Death of America will follow shortly'. I honestly don't know why people pay any attention to actors in regard to politics. It's not like these people are scholars or anything. Good luck in your endeavour Mike. Question though; have you checked around for local assistance in financing from the Government? I know years ago you could qualify for low interest loans under certain circumstances. Also, if you're a Veteran you can get a small business loan from the VA. Take care.
