They work great as a beginner bait too! I got my brother hooked on bass fishing by having him use Senkos!

x2 I find that lures and pretty much everything is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it! I go through E-bay when trying to get an idea of an items monetary value. Usually works!

I had the same problem but do like J Francho says and wait until you feel the weight of the fish and then set the hook. Seemed to work for me!

Got to the lake around 7am hoping to catch a decent bass on a swimbait and I did! :-? Wow, normally doesnt work that way! ;D Caught it on a Spro BBZ-1. Weighed 5.2 lbs! I was stoked! Found a jogger and asked him to take a pic! Enjoy!

Sounds like you got it made! ;D My GF loves to fish too but only if its saltwater. I told her that once she hooks on to a decent LM she'll be hooked but so far she aint taking the bait :-/ I'll convince her one of these days ;D

Suks about your day but dont give up on the braid. Once you get used to it, the backlashes decrease and when you do get one, its pretty easy to untangle. At least thats my experience Now I use braid on almost all my rigs!
