  1. Merry Christmas and welcome to the forum.
  2. Merry Christmas to all. I need some info on the Pointer 128's. I have used the smaller 100 & 78's with success but how do the larger 128's work on the water? What colors work best? Chow
  3. Merry Christmas to all. I need some info on LC Flashminnow 130's I have used the smaller ones 110 and 95's with success but how do the larger 130's do on the water and what colors work best. Chow
  4. The MR seems to work. How about the 20', 12' & DR How do they fair on the water? What colors work best? Chow
  5. Has anyone used the LC Flat CB'S and in what depths? I'm thinking of purchasing some of these. I noticed that they come in several depth ranges. Also in what colors seem to work best. Chow
  6. I bought some a few years ago on Cabela's Bargin Cave for $19.95 of an original price of $35 used them and quite frankly I didn't catch any thing I used Rapala Shad Raps the same day and caught more fish. I sold them on Ebay for more money used then I paid new it seems that anglers in South America loved them because that's who bought them. Save your money as far as I'm concerned they are not worth it. Just my .02. Chow

  14. As I understand it the Storm lures made in the USA work and are made better than the ones made over seas so if you have ones made in the USA I would use them if not sell them on Ebay.
  15. BPS has two Stella Models that range from $500 to over $600 with a high end rod your talking what $800 to $1000 WOW!!!!!! I have heard good things about the Stella but as a weekend Angler I think that's a bit overboard......Just my .02 Chow
  16. I have a CMC 6" adjustable jackplate I don't think I have found the sweet spot yet but I don't go hog wild trying to find it when I go out I'll adjust the motor up 1/4" leave it there for the trip so far the big difference I have found is that I don't loose as much mph when I have 2 or three people on board but have not seen a gain with myself only on board but have not lost anything either. I have a 90hp Merc on a 17' Tracker Targa Deep V or as they call them in the far north a Walleye boat. http://www.cook-mfg.com Chow

  18. The way the fish took my lure in about 3' of water and took me down to the bottom of 15' and I couldn't pull off the bottom my quess it was a monster a conservative guess would be 30lbs+ the thing bit my line off down there. I was fishing for Bass at Black Lake, NY, using 12lb test co-poly, 6' med action rod and a DD Pointer 100 it was the first time that lure had seen water and it was the last time I saw it. Black Lake is known for toothy critters including Gar Pike. Chow
  19. Pointer 100 DD Ghost Minnow
  20. 1. Pop R type 2. Zoom Horny Toad or any frog bait. 3. Rapala floater jerked on top
  21. If talking only of Bass then the plastic worm is #1 BUT...... if talking of an all around bait for all species then I would have to say the original Rapala floater or Shad Rap comes in at #1. Chow
  22. Welcome. If you have a boat or a buddy that has one go out on the water put a small swivel on the end and let all the line out while the boat travels at idle speed works for spinning gear or use a snap swivel and hook it to to a fence or pole and walk the line off the reel that works as well. Chow
  23. McCoy's Co-Poly Flo-Blue low stretch and low memory.
