So my Fiance asked me, "why do you have so much stuff for fishing, I've only seen you use a portion of it, and you always use the same stuff. You have all those baits, but when you run out of one, you immediatly order them from BPS or wherever instead of using the other stuff." So has anybody ever heard that one? I'll admit, it's true, I do have a ton of fishing stuff. I have about 15 rods and reels, put about 7 on my boat while tournament fishing, and I have probably 20 stoway boxes full of stuff, I have worm pouches full, and I only use a small portion of it. Why do I do that you ask? Well, I love Berkley, and I can say that I probably own every bait that berkley has on the market, in most color. I use different colors for different conditions, and different styles, for different times in the season. About the rods, I love Quantum, So that is what I own, rods and reels are all Quantum. I don't feel bad about owning as many as I do or putting that many in my boat. Because with that many poles, I can have 7 different rigs at once, and they are only a reach away. So when I see the guy fishing further down the cove having to stop to switch out baits or re rig or something, I know that I'm getting about 5 casts to his 1 cast. I figure the more casts, the more water covered, the more water covered, the more fish. Just wondering if anybody else does the same.

Hey guys, I got my first Rage Tail Toads lastnight. When using them do you tear their back legs apart, I mean where they curve around and attatch? Or do you just leave them? Thanks

This is my baby. Some of the boat ramps we use for tourny's around here, i'm glad that i have her! 2 weeks ago i had to pull a ford tourus back up the boat ramp....

I've only used horny toads, and that's what i have been having my fiance fish with and it works really well for her, the only problem is that they tear up so fast, i didn't know if the rage tail was any stronger, I've also heard that they have a better action.

Just curious what you guys would suggest.

Hey guys, I just wanted to see what ya'll had for a first fishing boat. Post pictures if ya got them. My first boat was a 14' john boat with a 25 hp Evinrude. I bought a used peice of crap 28lb thrust trolling motor and made my own front deck on it out of plywood. I used left over house carpet to put in it, it was ugly but sure was comfortable haha!

Thanks. I'll try to get them posted quick. My step-mom hasn't entered the technology world and got herself a digital camera yet, so she tries to claim mine. I'm taking the boat out again with my fiance tomorrow evening. Gonna try to make myself forget about letting that big one die..... :'(

No pics yet guys, but the tourny went great as far as the boats performance. I did catch a 5.75lb bass but was docked 1 pound for dead fish. Stupid mistake and i'm kicking myself for it, got a birdsnest and when i got it worked out he was there. I worked on him the whole tourny but just couldn't keep him going. Won the tourny, lost some of my pride. Motor ran great, i'm thinking of selling the motor actually. I'd like to get an older, bigger mercury if possible. I would love to get a 50-85 horse older mercury.
