Smallest Boat You Could Comfortably Stand In?
I don't know how small u want to go, but a Pelican Bass Raider its very stable, rated for a 5hp. I weigh close to 250, and the plastic pelican is more stable than my old john. Me and my uncle routinely fish out of his, between the two of us close to 450lbs then add tackle batteries etc. They are small, 10 is the largest I've seen. Your son could stand on the edge of the boat without tilting the boat.

For Those Of You Who Have A Boat....
The two happiest days in a boat owner's life: the day they buy it and the day they sell it. That said I couldn't imagine fishing without one.

Accountant Help!
Honestly idk, finance and accounting with a CPA would make a strong highly specialized combination. Business administration or management a more balanced education if CFO is really her goal, I would think finance, the real world experience and licensing in accounting would be terrific, add to that finance and she is able to advise on investing, creating cash flow, and even debt management. Just asked the wife, she said finance. She also said that as long as her boss is a CPA her employment will count as being under a CPA's supervision. Most ppl equate being a CPA with tax.preparation. In reality traxes are a small part of being aCPA. One firm my wife worked at the CPA's didn't do taxes, the firm had EA's (enrolled agents) that did the taxes. In actuality an EA is the best route to go for tax preparation, they're authorized to deal with the IRS on your behalf and are accountable to the IRS, CPA's are not; that's separate. So those of you who think your butt's covered because a CPA did your taxes, you're accountable for their work! Funny thing is anyone can become an EA, but it takes a four year degree and supervised work history to become a CPA.

Buzzbaits
I love buzzbaits, I've caught countless bass and one bluegill on them.Typically I use a 7 foot MH/MF Rod and a 6.3/1 reel, takes in 26 ipt, 12lb yo-zuri hybrid line, I also use my frog rod in heavy cover with braid. Anyway buzzbaits like any lure can be fished in a myriad of ways. If I'm burning them I use a double prop so it won't try to roll. If I'm fishing it slow them a Cavitron is great too. I like double props because of versatility, everything from slow roll creating a wake to burning it so fast I'm throwing duck weed a few feet in the air. Chartreuse and white with gold blades is my confidence bait. IMO there isn't a wrong time to fish one, wrong locations yes. Just fish it, be creative and have fun

Accountant Help!
Forgot to mention earlier, each state has their own (sometimes unique) laws that govern the testing process, education requirements, CPE requirements to maintain current licensing. Passing the initial battery of tests is merely the beginning. Additionally MBA's are becoming more specialized as well, many colleges offer different specializations. I.E. the generic and vague business administration, business management, finance, human resources, accounting, audit, etc. The old standard MBA is becoming a dinosaur, most now have a specialization designation.

Accountant Help!
Sorry if my post wasn't clear, I think the same as you. My wife is sitting for her CPA now, and like your wife says she has so many credit hours that it wouldn't be hard to finish her MBA. I think that CFO positions would have intense competition, so if that is her final goal, it wouldn't hurt to have both.

Accountant Help!
My wife is an accountant, if she is going to do one or the other, the CPA is the way to go. As I'm sure you already know the testing procedures are intense and extensive, takes about a year to complete the entire process, there are four different tests that cost a couple hundred each. A lawyer buddy said for him the bar exam was easier than the CPA exams. The MBA isn't useless and with today's competitive job market would be advantageous to have, especially if she is wanting a CFO position. IMHO an accountant without a CPA it's like an attorney who never took the bar.

What's Your Favorite Christmas Movie?
Can't believe I forgot the "Polar Express". I have had kids in the house for 27 years now, hard to remember all the Christmas movies. My youngest is now 10, still have a few years to enjoy Christmas through the eyes of a child. Although by teenage years it has list the magic for them

What's Your Favorite Christmas Movie?
Bill Murray in "Scrooged", so many adaptations of "A Christmas Carole" it's hard to remember which one, "It's a Wonderful Life", Jim Carey "The Grinch" although that would be better if the Grinch hadn't gotten so sentimental. I think a better ending would be Grinch laughing and the poor little Who's sobbing, Will Farrel as Buddy in Elf, and finally "Home Alone". Notable mention "Jingle All The Way" Schwarzenegger. Animated specials "the Little Drummer Boy", the original "Grinch Who Stole Christmas" and "Merry Christmas Charlie Brown"

Chatterbait Bass
I noticed s few have already mentioned this but it is important. Not all chatterbaits are the same, Z-man's hooks are just plain horrible. All isn't lost though, sharpen the hook and also close it a little. Most Z-man hooks actually have an almost imperceptable outward bend., near the barb. Makes it hard to hook up and very difficult to keep the fish buttoned.

Bps Buys Ranger, Triton And Stratos Boat Companies
From reading the article seems like BPS is basically paying the bills. The article focused on the Ranger line up, stating that management, production etc will remain the same. The same parent company already owned Ranger, Triton and Stratos.

And The Family Grows Bigger
Do Yankees even know what a feist is? Or the regard that southerners have for those lil' mongrels? A feist is more raider than the Masstiff. I mean they're bug eyed, think they're ten foot tall and bullet proof, spend allot of time barking up the wrong tree, specialize in chasing bushy tail, shake when they bark, and hard to house train. Sounds more and more like raider the more I think about it
