If the LC one'd didn't cost me $20, it would be my favourite so I have to go with the X-Raps.

I wish they would bring back some of the old Excalibur Fat Free Shad colours. They have a bigger selection in colours now, but it doesn't match the old ones. Plus they don't have suspending models anymore and their hooks are no longer painted black, but a cheap looking chopper colour, nonetheless, still very sharp. Seems like they have cut back on as much as they can.

If you are getting them half off. I really like those rods. The only rods I have are fenwick and shimanos. They are excellent rods. The series 1 rod is a great value as well.

I realise they also don't have a lot of products you would want in stock as well. Most of the soft plastics don't have the colors I want, that is again why I prefer ***. I can just choose what I want and they are always in stock. One thing BPS is good for is they have great customer service. I bought a bunch of lures from there, did not use them and brought it back without the receipt and they gave me a instore credit.

Yep. I stopped going to BPS. I order everything from *** now. I love how I can find everything I want, order it all at once without any hassle. BPS is always a fun place to walk around in because sometimes you find good things on sale, but overall, they aren't cheaper. I get better deals at my local tackle shop than I do at BPS.

So they have the President on sale at my local tackle shop, but the new one is only about 20 ish more dollars. I was wondering if I should pay the extra 20 to get the newer one or just stick with the old model. Can someone give me a comparison of the 2 reels? Get the new or stick with the old? Pros and Cons?

I assume I am suppose to remove the split rings before putting on a snap, but can I just put the snap on the split ring? how does it affect the bait movement and such anyways?
