Ya, when ever my buddy and I go cat fishing we always put in a dip. We pefer the brand Kodiak. For some reason whenever we have one in we catch alot.

Do you think this would be the ideal spot for fish to stay if there isn't anymore cover?

What is the best kind of lure to use when you fish a fast river? Keep in mind that this river flows pretty fast so which you cast a crank bait up river by that time you get it reeled back in your reeling down river. Please help!

Hey, does anyone know if fish will stay under the a hanging tree limb that is not in the water or for that matter will fish hide in a tree limb that has dropped in the water?

Ok, I have this nice little river running through my back yard. I'd say the river is only about 20 yards wide. The flow of the river is pretty fast. I have caught a bass, a sucker fish, and a couple red eyes the first time I fished this river last year. The problem I am having is that was the only time I caught anything out of it. I was there a coupe more times after that and been there a couple time this year and still have been unsuccessful catching anything. I really don't know what to do from here. I know this river is full of fish. Can anyone give any suggestions on what I can do to start catching some fish?
