VA hands down! Lived here all my 47 years and cannot see living anywhere else. 2 hours gets you anywhere you want to be, beach, mountains! 20 minutes to the most powerful city in the world. Museums and a great school systems as well. What else do you need? Cost of living is a bit steep but it's well worth it in the long run. Sooo many places to fish and hunt. Nice seasonal changes that are not too severe. It's the beginning of December and we have a mid 50's day! Nice!
  2. Still can't believe no one has said scrounger!
  3. Oy! Didn't see the pics.......... My mistake
  4. Right along the lines of hot coffee at Mc D's!
  5. Nice mullet.
  6. #1- you can use finess techniques with both spinning and baitcasting as long as the setup is correct #2- have both rods, both serve a purpose. In my opinion, I like the vendetta better!
  7. Gerber multi tool. Hook removal couldn't be easier!
  8. I have the 7'8" mojo CB rod. Love it. Wasn't a fan until I started tinkering with line size and floro v. mono. You might have to so the same with any rod you choose. Some lines didn't give me enough feedback when deep cranking!
  9. Maybe you should give it one more shot. Don't want to end the year on a downer!!
  10. Me as well. quanjig
  11. It's funny how people like to inflate things! I'm sure the potential is there for him to bring sown that kind of money, but unless you lockbox your way into the dream job with a company that has a huge upside in terms of growth and developement, you probably will have to "live and learn" your way to a nice salary. In trade related fields you usually have to put in your time to grow your income. Once you have a firm grip on what it takes to be successful in the field you can command top dollar for your craft. Being a locksmith in a big metropolitan area, I still learn on the job every day. Life safety codes and DHS requirements are always changing and challenging! I make a good living. It also helps to be "where the food is!" with plenty of work for those who can do it correctly!
  12. I got battlefield3. It's pretty cool. I'm new to consoles and fps so what do I know. I suck at these things but during the winter it will make the time pass a little quicker! I just hate all the people that absolutely verbally abuse me for sucking so badly! My money, my gold!
  13. I picked up my copy today for the xbox. I just don't understand why I cannot play these games very well. Killcam always shows me a day late and a dollar short!! I know good and well I've loaded them with bullets but it shows me not even pulling the trigger while tha other guy is just full auto crushing me. Anyone have any suggestions??!
  14. I've got so ants in my boat, think I could get that ant eater over here to clean up??!! Hope taco recovers nicely!
  15. Looking to purchase a couple megabass ito110's. Just have to make up my mind which colors!!
  16. Looks like a royal cluster........
  17. I think a lot of water around here is in the process of turnover. Might be a bit tough for a while keep trying, once you find them your likely to stomp them real good!
  18. Nice. Perfect size to chunk into a pan! That's good eats!
  19. I'm so not computer savy. Still trying to get my xbox faster so I don't get waxed all the time in cod and BF!

80's stuff. Plinsouls, stiff little fingers, smiths, echo and the bunnymen. The black keys is obviously in my rotation! Also diggin' the last Gregg Allman album. Hoodoo Gurus, hunters and collectors....
  22. Was out Sunday. Only fished down lake from fountainhead. Buddy said it was much cleaner down lake. Caught some shallow, caught some deep. Fish seem to be all over the place depth wise. Couple more weeks should make them a bit more predictable.
  23. Have both, like the vendetta better. Already had two guides replaced on the veritas. Love them both, just sayin'!
  24. Try an electric screw gun. They usually have torque settings. Start off very low and increase the setting. Should be able to "bump" the screws loose that way
