Male Or Female Bass ?
that is correct. One way to determine the sex of larger bass (13 to 15 inches or longer) by examining the area around their urogenital opening. This is the opening on the rear underside of the fish. Females will have a circular scaleless area around their urogenital opening, while males' scaleless area will be more oblong. 2nd way is to massage the abdomen of the fish by moving your fingers from the middle of the abdomen back toward the urogenital vent using gentle pressure. If milt (fish sperm) is expelled, then the fish is a male. If no milt is expelled, then the fish is likely a female, although not with certainty

Rage Tail
I just picked up a few bags of Rage Tail Shad and Toads for $3 each. I have never used them before and figured at that price, I couldn't pass them up. SO once I got home, I was looking at each bait and noticed on the tails of them, there is a small please of rubber that attaches them to the body. Should you detach them so they flop freely or do you leave them attached so its sturdier? What to do?

Bass Pro Shops , Cabelas, Dicks Sporting Goods
I am very close to BPS and Dicks but I love BPS, so that would be my first choice. Cabelas I just get there catalogs to browse through. (not one close enough). Dicks, I go there if I HAVE to or if they are having those 50% off sales on fishing lures. BPS all the way.

I saw the ad in this months In-Fisherman magazine. Here is the link for them if you'd like to know more info. Has anyone used these before? How do they compare to the lure retrievers that BPS carries? Better or worse? http://freddiessetmefree.com/freddiessetmefree.html

Tackle Storage
http://www.staples.c...413:7882STMB.04 I use this. Mine is a little smaller but the handle makes it very easy for carrying. Store all the bags inside and it works! I think I got mine at Wal-mart or Target (but you get the idea). They are stackable too

97 Jetta - Car Alarm - Please Help
Sfritr - We recently bought the car so we are not the owners since day 1. We never received a key remote so the only way for us to turn the alarm off is by placing the key in the trunk lock. that turns it off for the time being. Then we are able to open the doors as we wish, but once we put the key in the ignition and try to start it, the alarm sounds. then back to the trunk lock i go, to turn it off. Is this how most Jettas are? Just odd. Was thinking about disconnecting the alarm and bypassing it all together. unless i can get this resolved without taking it in to the VW dealer.

97 Jetta - Car Alarm - Please Help
I checked the fuse box and according to the cover, fuse 13 is labeled "horn" so i tried to pull that one. uh, that didn't do a thing. the service manual says that 11 and 13 would take care of it....pulled both of them but still no luck. not sure what else to do

97 Jetta - Car Alarm - Please Help
I have a 97 Jetta and for some reason, everytime I try and start the car, the alarm sounds. I have unhooked the negative battery cable in hopes of resetting the alarm, which does not fix it. I have shut all doors and tried starting it, but no luck.....alarm sounds and I have to stick the key in the trunk to turn it off. I don't understand why it's going off. I can open the doors fine and get in to the trunk, but as soon as i try and start it.....the alarm sounds What is causing this?

Gear Oil And Fuel Mixture For A 1966 Evinrude
I have a 1966 Evinrude Fastwin, 18HP, 2 stroke engine. Can anyone recommend a good brand of gear oil that I should use in this? I have recently drained the old and am ready to replace with new. Are there any brand I should stay away from or are they all treated equal? Same thing as above, can anyone recommend a good brand of fuel oil mixture? The motor I have requires a mix ratio of 50:1. Are there any brand I should stay away from or are they all treated equal?

Anyone Familiar With A 97 Vw Jetta? Need Help
no, there is not a crossmember at all. It is completely open. That is why I cannot figure out why its not coming off after i hit it with a rubber mallet. When we bought the car, we were told that it needed an oil pump. So we bought the oil pump and according to the car service manual, it should be just on the other side of the oil pan. i tried sticking a big screw driver in between the block/the pan to pry it off but no dice. I didn't try that too much cause I didn't wanna ruin anything. So I stopped

Anyone Familiar With A 97 Vw Jetta? Need Help
Hi all I recently bought my daughter her first car and it happens to be a 1997 VW Jetta. I was wondering if someone can give me some advice on how to remove the oil pan. I have drained the oil, removed the oil filter and removed all the bolts that are holding the oil pan in place. I cannot break it loose. I have used a rubber mallet to try and break it loose....but nothing. Is there something else I am missing? Please help
