I never trim the guard, unless I want it stiffer, I also don't generally trim the skirt. but sometimes I will shorten it up depending on trailer

Remington 1100 with #7 birdshot is our defense gun, but lately its just been the groundhog/ gopher killer, the groundhogs are so big around here they laugh at 22's....lol ohhh and it also took care of my pesky printer/ all in one that was giving me fits, it is now behind the shop in about 3 million pieces!

Finesse are geting a face lift, they discontinued the frog hair silicone I used for them so we have to go through and redo all the colors since the skirts are going to be different. Hair jigs will be turned on before the sale, along with the hippy jigs

I am looking at adding new colors to the Black Series line, the jigs are rubber and silicone, so we are limited only by the color of the rubber available, currently I stock black, brown, and the green pumpkin/pumpkin color for rubber, I am not opposed to stocking other colors, I just haven't found others I actually like. Right now there is glaring holes in the color lineup, I am going to be adding Green Pumpkin Candy, and possibly a Salsa type color (watermelon red and black) is there any other colors you would like to see added? We carry over 150 colors of silicone so there really is no limitations there, just the rubber. And yes we are also having a 4th of July sale, we missed out on Fathers day and Memorial day due to the back log of orders so I will be making it up to you guys in a 4th of July sale! I don't have the details hammered out yet, I have to look at what we have left in stock, see what we can get stocked up on in the short amount of time and all that fun stuff, but it is more than likely going to be a percentage off type sale with some added bonuses thrown in. We should have ALL orders currently in the system shipped out by Wednesday and so it will give us a little time to figure things out for net week!. I really appreciate the loyal support we always get from BR members! Just for a friendly reminder that our jigs do catch big fish, here is a good friend of mine with his new personal best fish, it broke his personal best he caught a couple minutes before this one, both fish were taken on Black Series jigs, and the kicker is this was his first time fishing jigs, some people have all the luck!

We dont mind....lol, and I don't know about Mike but I have a private "test" pond that has its share of 5lbers in it, so I fish almost daily when the ice isn't here

Yes we do, we are working on getting stock up in it though, should have swim jigs up tomorrow along with some flipping jigs, flip and swims are in stock, its a long process to get going but should be worth it in the end

Color also "disappears" in deep water, as less light penetrates, so you think you are fishing a green pumpkin worm on a shakey head in 25' of water and it really is just another shade of gray, purple is the last color to turn grey in the water column

If anyone is wondering we are now shipping out orders from around the 11-13th, there are a couple monster orders (you know who you are.....lol) from the 8th that I am going to complete this weekend and ship on Tuesday. We are slowly but surely getting caught up, I think I am like 15 orders down right now, which is alot better than the 60 some a few weeks ago

I rig mine horizontal, and I don't overthink things, as long as there is something flapping around back there I don't care, fish don't have enough time to discern what they are looking at anyway, they see something swim buy that looks like a bait fish and have about a 1/2 second to eat it or leave it.

Certain wire for spinnerbaits gets fatigued, I am thinking if I remember correctly it is piano wire, I have had several break on me in testing, sometimes after only a couple fish

It moved it off the bed and was done with it, they are not "eating" when they are on beds, more than likely it was the male keeping the bed clear for a female, you know kinda like when you clean your house before a lady comes over and then one of your buddies leaves his beer cans and pizza sitting out on the coffee table and she comes over and thinks your a slob, same idea for this poor male you were harassing while he was trying to booty call....lol

generally the lighter sizes skip better, but if you are looking to skip a jig, look at the brush jig or his BIG-O that head design skips well due to the flat sides.
