  3. Alot of votes for a Rapala, and I'mno different. I refuse to buy a Japanese lure. I have been highly successful with Rapala, and would reccomend them to anyone.

+1 I find myself buying things I know I will never use "just to have in case I need it"
  5. I normally put the different types of worms in different ziploc bags, then put them in the plastic storage containers. For example my cream worms will go in one bag Manns Jelly worms in another and berkley worms in another ziploc but then i put all of the ziplocs in the plastic container. It works for me and seems to keep them "Fresh". Hope this helps. ~D
  6. Mike, It's great to see your getting back into fishing. Here in Ohio I have had alot of success lately with top water (Rapala floaters, Skitter Walks, Hula Poppers, and Jitterbugs), and believe it or not Dardevle spoons. Best of luck to you on a great week of fishing. ~D

  17. I have 2 Locust in my tackle box I picked up on clearence from Wal-Mart for $2.00. Here in southeastern Ohio we have alot of Locust on the River at a certain time during the season. I fished with mine last year after the Locust season kinda died out, and did fantastic. Hope they work for you.
  18. I really thought I got a great deal, but $2.00 per lure! Thats a hell of a deal, makes my 3.50 per I was so proud of look like an awful deal.
  19. So, this weekend I went to the county flea market, and found an older man set up with Rapalas priced for $4.00 a piece. I talked with him for a few and he said if I bought 10 he will sell them for $3.50 a piece. I dont have many rapalas because they are so expensive. I picked up a clakin rap, x-raps, original floaters, suspending, skitter pops and skitter walks. Now I'm kicking myself in the *** for not buying more. He said he will be back the first week of September. Do you guys think I should buy the whole lot (he has about 100) I think if I did he would sell them for 2.75 - 3.00 per lure. I have never seen such low prices on rapalas, the boxs are a little scratched on the outside but the lures are great. Has anyone else had any luck with finding lures this cheap?
