  1. 3/32oz Picasso Shakedown jighead with a Watermelon/green Zoom Trick Worm. Always catches fish....always
  2. I honestly can't tell you what hook they use, I just know that they are needle sharp and hook fish. My favorite spinnerbait in the Picasso lineup is the F6. Like CJ said, I caught all but one of my fish at Guntersville on it. If you have any more questions on Picasso products, shoot me a pm
  3. Awesome stuff Hester. This is something that I have wondered alot about since craw imitation style baits are go-to for me. Are you planning on doing another test?
  4. Dude that thing is FAT. Your right, she does look like she is about to pop. Mike, I really need to head up to Toona for a day and let you put me on some fish.
  5. Dang FC. What a toad!!!! Your heart must have been racing when you were fighting her. Congrats on a gorgeous fish!
  6. ROFL!! Funniest thread I've read in awhile
  7. I'm leaving now to go meet my Gf for breakfast, then it's off to G-ville to fish with CJ. I am so pumped!!!!
  8. Lol. I dont understand why someone has to hi-jack this thread to make a comment about it not being "bass fishing" If you dont have something nice to say, don't say it at all. Anyway, Gator, that is awesome. Was that first picture really a complaint someone sent in? How did you catch the one in the second pic?
  9. Congrats Bassn!! I love the outfit.
  10. 14.8 on a BPS Finesse Craw
  11. I don't have time to read all the replies to this thread, but I hope everyone has a similar opinion as me. Who in the world are you to judge what is "mature" and what is not? Are you saying you never get pumped when you catch a good fish? Do you never scream and get angry when you lose a good fish? I autographed my friends forehead right after I caught my 14lber, and then 2 months later, snapped a rod over my knee when I lost a 5lber in the tournament. Am I mature? Am I to passionate? I would love to hear your opinion? Grow up.
  12. I just tossed the Rage Toad yesterday evening in a small pond near my house and I was really dissapointed with it. It's action is pretty eratic, but I didn't like how inconsistently the legs kicked. The would throw water for 5ft, then the next few feet they would just drag and I would have to give it a hard pop to start them again. I think I'm gonna stick to the Horny Toad and the *** toad.
  13. What a gut. Congrats man. How bout some details. What did she hit? What rod and reel did she fall to?
  14. freakin awesome ;D
  15. Hey, I've seen those bibs before. I'm glad there working for you. Sorry the trip was tough, but fishin sure beats the heck out of working.
  16. Sorry I didn't go more in depth about the topwaters. The key to Lanier topwater fishing is convincing a Spot to chase your bait. You might think that you would want to go slow, but the most succesful way to fish a topwater bait out there is to literally RACE it across the surface. I Fish the full sized Super Spooks and personally, I like to add a red treble hook on the front. Throw the bait wait out, and reel it in fast with a constant pumping motion. When a fish strikes, wait until you feel pressure to set the hook. Alot of times it will take a few strikes form the fish to actually hook up. When the fish hits it, keep moving it just as fast, if not faster. If you slow it down they wont hit again. I know moving it fast sounds crazy, but just try it. I promise it will kill them out there. Is the guide your father found, Ryan Coleman?
  17. Hey Jerrod. I've only fished Eufala a few times, but when I was there, I caught all my fish flipping laydowns or fishing the ledges with a Norman DD22. I think if you stick to that, you should find a few fish. Like I said, I have only fished it a few times, but each time that pattern has worked. Good luck in the tourny
  18. If you want to go at it yourself, here's a few things that might help you get started. The fish are offshore pretty much 95% of the year and move constantly, chasing Bluebacks. Once the water hits 60, the topwater bite will be incredible. Last time I was there it was 54. It should reach 60 soon. Anyway, throw that topwater over humps and points. You should find some fish doing that. Also make sure to have some jerkbaits and spinnerbaits to throw over those same humps and points. If you are having trouble finding them on main lake, then go in to Bald Ridge (my favorite spot on the lake) and try to find some schooling fish. You should have no trouble at all seeing them. It is hard to miss a group of 2-6lb spots DESTROYING a group of Bluebacks. If you can't find schoolies, then go fish docks and steep banks with a dropshot or jighead/worm. Some of my biggest spots have come off docks, so don't think your wasting your time fishing them. If you need some more help, shoot me a pm and I will give you my digits so I can actually talk rather than trying to explain by typing.
  19. I've had a similar experience. I was playing baseball in the backyard with friends, and I was using an aluminum bat. Well after I was done batting, I got the urge to strike a pine tree that was near me. Well I leveled the tree and DOINK!!! The bat bounced off the tree and leveled me in the forehead. I got knocked out cold. I still to this day have no idea what made me hit the tree and I still don't understand how the bat could bounce back as fast as it went foward.

I really appreciate it Al. Get back soon so we can fish!!!
  21. I'm gonna side with Burley on this one and say that on certain fisheries, like Lake Lanier, that is gin clear and the main forage is the blue back herring, I think the Sexy Shad would work better than Chartreuse Shad. BassFishingMachine - You say that Green Gizzard and Ayu look the most natural, but is that what the fish think? Also, have you ever picked up a live Gizzard Shad and looked at it's color? I think the Sexy and Chartruse Shad are both excellent imitations of the gizzard shad.
  22. I got to see this reel at the Classic. I personally didn't think much of it's appearance, but I have no clue how it performs on the water. I just think Abu is coming out with a few to many Revos. I think they should keep it at 7 imo.
  23. The Sandlot...one of the funniest movies of all time The Rookie Rookie of the Year
  24. The Head On and Gmans Garage commercials may be real annoying, but look what this thread is all about. It already has 15 replies and 150 views...out of those 150 views, I imagine 25% of the viewers checked out the site. Now that's smart advertising IMO I love it!
  25. Do you dropshot? If not, go pick yourself up some #1 Gamaktsu e.w.g. hooks, 1/4oz Tru-Tungsten convertible dropshot weights, and 4 to 6lb flourocarbon. Any worm will work, but lately I have been using the Jackall flick shake worm You also might want to get the new Berkley hollow body shad. They look pretty nice and they are gonna catch some fish. If your in to swimbaits, make sure to get a Tru-Tungsten Tru Life swimbait. It's DONKEY!! It has a chamber that opens that allows you to add or remove tungsten balls to make the bait float, suspend, sink slow or sink fast. They are definately worth the price tag. Good luck filling those empty boxes!
