  1. what erks me is when the lil boogers charge out and bite the tail off my fluke lil buggers but where theres lil jerks there's usually a fat girl hanging around
  2. so i was fishing on the lower colorado river yesterday and i had a real first caught my first bird. i casted out and he swooped in toward my flyen fluke and hit my line and went down. he was tangled pretty good so i reeled him in untangled him took a pic (i even C&R birds lol ) he was really quite cooperative didn't peck or kick. i let him chill for a sec and dry out and off he went that was definitely a first oh and here's a couple fish worth a pic aswell

  6. ive had this happen a couple times i just made up some small trailer hooks with lil bait hooks and some 30lb braid caught plenty of tail biters

  8. ok so i stop at wally world to get a new winch strap then before ya know it i see those dang red stickers and i walk out with a diawa rojo 45 bucks down from 95 a 2 buzz baits 2.50 down from 5 and i didn't even get the winch strap well if the reels at least as good as the old mega force it should do ok
  9. look on the net i found various places selling parts that are probably cheaper than the factory
  10. i am in know way affiliated with tackle warehouse actually found them through this site anyway was on there site and they have fathead jr's on sale for 3.99 a pack thought it was a good deal since there like 7 something here thought i would give y'all a heads up happy fishing

  12. have you actually seen bass? are you filling tugs or twitches or just bumping? it could be bluegill try a white super fluke with mega strike if that don't work try a small swimmer like a 3.5 or 4 inch fathead junior

  14. farthest ive gone is to print out a digital pic i just cant justify taken a biggen outta the gene pool ive caught a couple lunkers and have caught many of them more than once i would much rather have a replica vs killing a big fish maker
  15. ive had some of the same problems here when Mexico needs water the dump a bunch and the river goes up then the fishing is horrible a lot of times when its up the fish go so far back into the brush you simply cant get to where they are now if they leave it up for at least 4or5 days then they start hitten again but if not its horrible i guess it disorients them
  16. don't throw it out keep it for a core to give when you get a new battery or ya pay an extra 5 bucks
  17. how do they make hollow bellies are they air injected or 2 piece can you pour em on your own or do ya need special equipment

  19. yup throw right back ive caught several fish that missed or threw a bait on the first shot and then hit that sucker with fury when it hits the water again

  22. Jigman is absolutely correct. The start up is a little salty. For an example you can get about 350-400 senko type baits in a gallon. It depends also on what your mixture is. 4 oz of plastic, 2 oz of salt, 1 oz of softner. For flukes you will not need that much salt. He also has a forum where you can ask questions and get tips. www.tackleunderground.com is another forum that has a ton of info. I started out wanting to make senkos. 5 years later I can make anything from senkos, beavers, curl tail worms, finesse worms and brush hogs. You can also make your own molds to save some green.
