The trick with spinning is the smaller the line the better. I use 20lb or 15lb power pro with a 10lb seaguar inviszx leader. Never had one problem. Try it and youll see. I used that on a crappy uglystick combo i had and i now use it on my sustain/cumara combo. It has never failed me and i use spinning probably 25% of the time

I used a E5 last year for all trebles. I found it way too slow so i upgraded to a core 50. It is a 7.0 but its IPT is 28 so it is a slow 7.0. Used it a coupe times so far and i love it. You would be much better with a E7

Here's what i would do. Buy a Tru Tungsten 4 inch swimbait in the color that suits you and a some Berkley hollow belly swimbaits in pearl. Both those swimbaits produced more big fish last year than any other lures with me and my friends. The TT swimbait produced a 4-10 and a 4-2 leading to a tournament win and a another really good finish. From all the ones I've tried the TT for hard swimbaits and the Berkley Hollow bellys are my favorites. Evevryone that ive suggested them too has said the samething that I do.

2008 Ranger Reata 186 with a Yamaha Four stroke 150hp. I love this boat. Its great for fishing and days with my family. Also have a 14ft aluminum with a 15hp Tohatsu. I got the aluminum boat and motor for my 8th borthday and it still runs like it was new.
