Good job Fish. I'm 34 and in the process of "starting over" with a total change in lifestyle with a proper diet and exercise. Those years of not taking care of myself have taken their toll. It's inspiring to see someone who is having success and feeling great! Jason

I fish them using the "jerk" method as well. I change it up a bit by snapping the rod up, reeling the slack, then snapping downward. Between jerks I kill the bait and let it sink out of site. This will mimic an injured bait fish. You can also use heavier line to slow the fall. I've had some nice topwater strikes with flukes.

Hang in there bud. It gets better, just takes time. As strange as it looked, I practiced my baitcasting skills in the yard....over...and over......and over. You'll get there. There's definitely a learning curve there but with time it will come. J.
