Every day on the way home from work I look. There's a great looking pond that has part of a shed collapsed in the water and several laydowns. All I can think is "10lber"...."10lber". 8-)

My father and I met him at Smith Mountain lake last weekend. Super nice guy, very friendly. Signed our hats, spoke for a minute or two, then patted my dad on the arm. Class act. J.

We are going up for the event tomorrow and will be staying until Sunday. We are thinking about possibly sneaking off to hit some local streams, ponds, or smaller bodies of water for some bank fishing. Anyone from VA know if there are any less crowded spots within an hour or so from Smith Mountain Lake? Fishing for pretty much anything that bites. 8-)

I agree with these guys. Play it cool and keep doing what your doing. I wouldn't want to set off a guy who carries a knife on his belt. Just to be on the safe side I would always go with a buddy. (cough, I live near Winston btw, haha!) Sounds like he's just bored and wants to talk.

Hi guys. Going fishing this weekend at a lake that has a pretty good White Bass bite going on. It's a water supply for a small nearby city with stained water. Visibility around 3 ft maybe. Not much for largemouth as far as size. I would appreciate any advice on what works best for them. I've caught a few on a Northland Mimic Minnow but nothing that they really hammered. Thanks! J.

For me I would say no. Lack of sleep is not my friend when on the lake. HaHa!
