Brand Loyalty...Good or Bad?
Brand loyalty is good as long as it comes with confidence in what youre throwing. As others have said if you believe in it, then you'll catch fish with it. Personally I love looking for something different, especially on the heavy pressured places I fish around, trying something different makes all the difference at times.

What is good braided line for flipping and pitching?
Personal preference is Sufix, but like others have said they all work good... Just use 50+ lb. for heavy cover

Need help on reel selection
Personally I use all quantum and have only Energy PT's, but I love them. Dont fish much clear water so I use braid alot on my spinning gear and you can easily get away with 20 lb. braid because of the diameter. Sorry, don't know if its much help but I know you'll get alot of feedback from Shimano lovers on here.

Costa Del Mar Turbine *lens question added*
I got the same frames with vermillion...Great for me, i fish mostly stained water (brackish color) and they seem to work alot better than any other lens i've tried. I cant comment for your personal use, I will say the color water makes a big difference though.

To those that Flick Shake...
Like others have said, the Jackall Flick Shake heads are the best in my opinion. I throw mine on the new Powell Wacky Rig spinning rod. I also use mine as more of a power fishing technique. I use about 20 lb. braid and work it in real difficult places, cypress trees, pads, etc. Also a real good follow up bait for misses on topwater.

Powell rod for spinnerbaits?
Purchased my first 2 Powells not long ago and have fell in love with them. Now looking into getting one for spinnerbaits. Need one that can handle 1/4 oz.-3/8 oz. and is between 6'6" and 6'10" . I like to have it shorter because i mostly pitch side arm and target cast so I like the accuracy of a shorter rod. Any thoughts or experience?

Reel Grips
Personally I love em. Besides the obvious fact that they can match or add color to your rig, it adds alot of grip for wet days or if you have sweaty hands. For me, alot of handles are thin, so I like something thicker so I like em alot.

Opinions on a possible new purchase...
Before I begin, this is post on Quantum reels, and I know alot of guys are diehard Shimano users, but just looking for suggestions. Really considering ordering one of the new Quantum REAX reels 6:6:1. I like the hybrid ratio, and the increased line capacity makes it good for several applications. I was thinking maybe buzzbaits and buzzfrogs. What applications do you think would work best?

Favorite jig to use
Spro-K 1/4 oz Finesse Jig

Sebile Magic Swimmer
From the pros last year, these were one of the hot baits, but I'm not sure if they're worth 17 bucks. They look amazing by the videos I've seen, I'm especially interested in the size 95 in 3/8 oz. Anyone with experience with these and what colors?

Trailers for swim jigs
Personally I like the Rage Craw. Either Black and blue to match the jig, or if I'm going for a brim or shad imitation I'll tip the ends of the pinchers with chartreuse JJ's.

Curado E5 help...
the reel isnt doing anything wrong, just feels like i have to work alot harder to get the shallow baits to work. Which i know is supposed to happen because of the gear ratio, just never tried one, tryin to get some opinions

Curado E5 help...
Bought a Curado E5 last year based on good reviews. I'm typically strictly a Quantum guy but heard good things on this for cranking so i thought i'd give it a shot. I only really do shallow cranking 10 ft or less w/ square bills and lipless baits. Not sure but I'm just not sure it feels right for the application I'm using cause of the gear ratio. Maybe i need to give it more time and adjust. Am I wrong?

Thoughts and Experiences
I've used Siege, Elite and Braid. I love Siege, prefer it to the Elite. Like others mentioned I cant wait to try the Fluoro.

Powell 704CB?
Looking for a good all around crankbait rod that can handle 1/4-3/8 oz baits (mostly squarebill cranks and lipless red eye shads). Saw this Powell 704CB on TW. Anyone have experience with it?

Swim Jig Rod help
Just getting into using a swim jig. What kind of rod do you use? What kind of blank do you like? Length, action, tip , etc. Thanks.

Line choice for two methods....
Need help with line choice for my cranks and spinnerbaits. I've fished sufix mono for both applications but have heard of alot of guys throwing them on fluoro. I fish mainly river systems, in canals, backwaters, etc. Most of my spinnerbaits are 1/4oz and cranks are shallow squarebills. Thanks!

Crankbait rod 1/4 oz baits??
Looking for a good crankbait rod for 1/4 oz. crankbaits in tight cover; such as creeks, canals, etc. Most of the cranks will be square bill but also I want to be able to throw 1/4 oz. Red Eye Shads and other lipless baits. Preferably around 6'9 or so I feel is the best. I like something light and with a split grip. any suggestions? thanks!
