It doesn't take a genius to figure out that most of Campbell's failings weren't his fault. He has had as many coaches, systems, OC's as he has years in his college AND pro career. He is a good quarter back with absolutley NO confidence, and NO line. You give him him the o-line that Favre had this year, I bet he would double his stats. Oh, did you guys forget to look at his stats, or are you judging him from the win/loss category? Probably the latter. Campbell has been treated like CRAP the past 2 years or so, and deserves to be in a city that will appreciate him. It's hard to say that a city even will, because of people like you guys jumping all over a guy for a lack of support on his line, and a front office that has NO clue on what they're doing. On to McNabb... I'm not quite sure how I feel about this yet. Like another guy has said, I've HATED this man ever since wearing an Orange jersey. Is he a better quarterback than Campbell? Last years numbers don't show much difference, except in one category; deep balls. Eight deep balls completed for 40+ yards, and 17 for McNabb. Campbell never had the plays called for him though. McNabb also had Desean Jackson who caught 11 (?) of those.McNabb will have a different play caller this year than Campbell, and will not have a fast receiver like Jackson. Motivational leader? McNabb wins this category. Something that has been lacking in this town on the football field for quite sometime. I'm excited to see him get fired up and march his troops onto the field, hype them up in the huddle, and get fire under theirAss finally. Solution to a 4-12 team? Not if they think this is going to be the band-aid to heal their wounds. They still have no line, they have a huge salary eater (Haynesworth), that doesnt give it half the effort he needs to, and have 3 running backs at the age of 30. OH, and I am hearing reports that the Skins haven't ruled out drafting a quarterback at pick number 4, and said that if Bradford is available, the will, "have a hard time picking someone else." Ridiculous.

I'm going to be attempting at making some poppers this evening. I am curious as to how you guys get your hooks to stay in so well. A screw in eye hook, right? any adhesive to make it a permanant thing? Then a split ring, then the trebles, right? thanks.

I thought that it didnt really matter what the popper looked like, that the bass are just hitting it because its ticked them off so much.

disregard that last one, I just saw you meant on the surface. I have seen some pretty big bee poppers for sly fisherman, I wouldn't see why the wouldn't work with spinning gear. Might not get you any size bass, but it'd be pretty cool having a bass hit on a bee popper.

I had a pretty productive day with some centipedes I got at Wal-Mart. I forget what the brand was, but they were crazy cheap. I was fishing them weightless on a river for smallies. I had good numbers with them, 3 or 4 in the 2 hours I was there. Those are good numbers for me.

You can throw everything in your tackle bag all day and not catch a thing. if you aren't in a spot where bass are, you wont catch anything. you have to go to the fish, not visa versa. Check your current and look for structure, eddys, or rip rap.

That is awesome, but I don't think you can give her the 4 oz to make it a DD. If it here like 4-12 to 5 lbs, no problem. Cant do it for the ole' DD. Either way, hell of a fish.

That is absolutely the truth. Its happened in my town (45 miles or so from Sam) a bunch at high school football games. Gps is up, thieves take it knowing the people arent home, type in "HOME", and now we have a case of burglary. Sam, I don't know about Richmond, but Stafford/ Fredericksburg crime has gone up A LOT this year.

I use them for my swimbaits. I love them. I just got a bunch of new swimbaits in, and I wanted to test them out at a pond I was at over the weekend. Sooooo easy and time efficient.

Tucker Max's, "I Hope They Serve Beer In Hell," might be the funniest read in the entire world. I read this book in two days about 4 years ago, and I strongly suggest you guys picking up a copy and locking yourselves in the bathroom for a full day. Dan is right, it is capitalism at its finest. You mean to tell me if you had the opportunity, money and structure to build something like this you wouldnt? I'm not quite sure I understand that. I'm in business to make a killing and get rich as balls. If i had $xxx Billion to invest in something like that, I would. Maybe not in Dubai, but you can bet your sweet cheeks I would do it. Ever hear the term, "if we build it, they will follow?" It holds truth, and I can see it from a MUCH smaller perspective. I'm in the apartment industry, and there was an building owner/ multi-family home developer that built three new LUXURY apartment bulidings in the GHETTO of DC. I mean, the slums, crackheads, gunshots, buglury is not uncommon in this part of town. Its now been two years, and with the opening of the Nationals baseball stadium crime has gone down, local jobs are up slightly, and his apartments are 100% leased, with waiting lists. Genius. Their prices; genius. Anyone know how they did their opening weekend?

Threw this for a while today. It's still awesome. Conditions were horrible and git skunked, but man does this bait move. It has a nice clacking sound, great action, and didn't have foul hooks once. I did get the line tangled once, but was user error. Again; amazing.
