i'm going out on saturday for a few hours with a fly rod here in Stafford. Gonna try and grab some trout and smallies. you should head up, but its a new spot, so i cannot promise any fish.

but why so hard to obtain? It couldnt be easier to find the records with conventional gear. Snobby fly fishermen keeping everything to them selves. I say that as i plan my first fly fishing expedition this weekend.

I use the alberto knot as well, i think from J Francho's suggestion. I love it, and have no issues with the knot on spinning or baitcasting gear.

I would not put the life of my family into a <$200 firearm. I have a 9mm i keep close to the bed side, but its the only one I have. Sigma 9. Love it, but want to shoot other things when I go to the range. As usual, mixed reviews. Thanks guys.

I've got the Shakey Head spinning rod, full grip. I love it. Its my favorite rod, I dont find it tip heavy in the least bit.

It does suck. Huge fishing pressure. I've been 4 times, skunked 4 times. One of the times I took mny 4 year old, so only went 3 times for bass.
