Where do I start? this is going to be a GREAT game. A lot of changes here in DC this past week, and hopefully for the better.new play caller in Sherm Lewis, new fire under Cambpells arse. I carry all my gear in a fly fishing vest. I use a 6'10" M/F rod and a small spinning reel.

I like to buy as much American made products as possible. Its not easy, but I try. Does anyone know of an American made hook that is of equal or greater value than an Owner or Gamakatsu? Tried eagle craw, hated them. Only use their trailer hooks.

Bosn, I hate to add to the thread without an answer, but I'm sure guys like Flechero or Reel Mech will have an answer for you in a heartbeat. And it will be the perfect fit

Exactly what another member said, for the money, it should be straight. Send that rod back, but I know it'll kill you cuz you've had and now you have to send it back out.

There are always a lot of positions in need, and we NEVER address them in a timely manner. We do, however, address them years down the road. It sucks. It's embarrassing. We also lost to the Chiefs!

Also, the price and bearings of the reel shouldn't effect your choice of rod. Sweet gumby reference.

Twistlock centering pin by Owner. I use 4/0 for the Ribbits http://www.ownerhooks.com/pages/products/hooks/basshooks.htm also, have you thought about using a tailer hook? I was going to suggest the pause method and a trailer hook method. Elite covered the pause. I use the cheaper eagle claw trailer hooks. Cheap and effective

PM the members Steezy or Bronzefly. Roadwarrior also used the Core I believe but Steezy and Bronzefly for sure. Try putting the brands in your title, you might get a faster response with that. ie. "steez/ core setup help" might grab someones attention a little more. Welcome to the forum.
