At the lake I fish at there is ALWAYS this huge carp in the same spot for about an hour in the norning. I've tried to catch this sucker for about a month and have had no luck. Short of taking my Smith and Wesson, what can I use to land this sucker?

there should be a lure wt. suggestion on the rod... if not, I wouldn't throw anything more than 5/8.. BUUUUT I'm not 100% sure. I'm setting myself up for getting laughed at.

I have one of these rods on my way, but don't really fish shakeys ALL that often. I realize I can use this rod for whatever the hell i want, but am starting to get some combos in my arsenal to start getting technique specific. So... can I get some suggestions on what I can get away with using this

RIGHT?! Everytime I see CWB in the "My fishing Trip" section, I know at least three four things. 1. He went to the cabin 2. He threw some Rage Shads 3. He caught something worth taking a picture of 4. He's gonna wear the hat with the "N" on it. (is it a Nevada hat....?)

Hey, sorry about that jab yesterday and I hope that hangover is gone by now. Look at the bright side, most of us guys from Michigan are done fishing until spring because we winterized our boats Sunday afternoon.... You know where must have just frozen over! spinner bait, buzzbaits, mepps. those are all that i use for my kids.. constant reeling is a plus for the 2 older ones. (4)

Its no specialty in the least bit. at lest not for me. I've never seen it in a can, so I had to buy it. and that does appear to be my bathroom. I was not a happy guy last night.

theres one thing conclusive about the loss to lions.. i now have NOTHING to do on sundays. but fish i guess.
