Congrats gramps! I had my first when I was 18, and definately wasn't a fairy tale story. She's 4 now and everything has worked out with a lot kinks. With a good heart and enough will and passion, things usually work out. Hope mom and baby are both as healthy as can be! Congrats again.

Business degree I do not have, but am working in a job where one would normally be needed. I do sales/ marketing for a painting, cleanin, carpet cleaning company that has over 100 employees and works for over 45 properties in and around the DC and Baltimore metro areas. The pay is good, but the stress is high. Right now its budget season for me so I'm running profit and loss statements, preparing proposals and presenting proposals on a regional level. Its tough, but I love it. I have 3 kids, a house and 2 cars and live paycheck to paycheck.. But I have everything. My suggestion to you is find an entry level job and NETWORK. Its not always what you know, its who know.

Its good to know there are companies still out there like this. I recently read a book on selling services and it gave me pointers and sales tatics. I take it glen works for T-Mobile. I find that the BB curve is quite simple and fast to surf the web. 90% of my posts have been from this thing. I can see how people say its "for business" I can sync it up to 5 e mail addresses, get to facebook, mobile picture uploading to FB (I recommend BR looking into this!), and has great reception. I must mention their durability too. I've dropped this thing at least 5 times, my youngest chews on it, oldest "texts" from it (pounding the letters) and I've dropped it in the river, it was sumerged for 10 seconds before I caught upp to, and STILL runs fine. BB Curve 10/10 cosmetically 10/10 mechanically.

Unfortunatley its budget time for my company. And I wil be working practically non stop until about mid to late october. I never have a DAY off, however I can "schedule" meetings that just so happen to be the same times you guys are fishing. Let me know. Are telescopic rods any better/worse than say a one piece or even a two piece?

No, it does not float. Sinks slooowly. but doesnt float. i rig to a 4/0 Owner twistlock.
