  12. If I had $100 to spend on a rod I would go for a quality rod over one that "looks cool". I do see your point though. But we are in a recession, and I'm in a slump as well- I would personally go to a quality.

  21. For me, fishing is new. Like 5 months new and every little thing needs improvement. I wanted to first start out being able to locate fish. I feel I can do that better now. My fall goal is going to be working on setting the hook better. I can work on technique specific things in the spring.

  23. I'm pretty sure its a nationwide law to wear your seatbelts. I'm hardly on boats, and never on a bass boat, but usually don't wear a lifejacket.
