  3. I'll put it this way... I ordered a swim bait from BPS which when i looked at it said in stock. then after i buy it i get an email that says your item is back ordered.. then 2 months later .... Yes two stinking months later the call me and say the card you gave us doesn't work.. and i was like That's because in the two months that i have been waiting i changed banks... gave her the new card number and 2 weeks later it arrived... I then order the same swim bait From Tackle warehouse that says it's back ordered on the display screen and 7 days later it's at the door... What the heck .... I give two whoots for Tackle Warehouse.. And now with that special running spend 50 bucks get free shipping 5 dollar express and 10 dollar over night... I bought my Bucoo and the next day.. not two.. the next day it was at the door... what the heck BPS... You think for a company that started as a mail order store they would be Pro's at shipping stuff... They never offered me anything for making me wait 2 months for a swim bait...
  4. Yeah, he is a great guy... I'm definitely going to pass the love on someday... (hopefully to one or both of my boys....can't make them fish if they don't wanna) But I started young at 5 and have loved fishing ever sense.. My grandpa is an avid fisherman too and got me hooked.. I still remember the first fish I ever caught like it was yesterday... I caught a little Bass probably 5" on a black crappie jig off the dock at Digger O'dells at the Lake of the Ozarks. I wanted to keep it and when my grandpa said I had to let it go I cried... lol. I definitely enjoy all Fishermen when we are out on the water doing what we love. we are always super friendly and willing to share our knowledge to some on less experienced and hide it from our equals... lol
  5. I have not.. yet anyway i get there some time sunday morning US time.. i'll look for it though.... so in Korean it's probably somthing like BaNiSa right?

  11. not all of them have graphite frames... like Alyssa XLT The one-piece Metal Frame and gearbox are made of die-cast aluminum alloy and precision CNC milled. The resulting rigidity of the metal frame and gearbox eliminates flex or torquing and allows the gears and other internal parts to maintain perfect alignment even under the most severe fish-fighting pressures. Our gears are individually machined from high quality brass bar stock to ensure optimum strength and the smoothest possible gear feel. Each gear is milled on our exclusive hobbing machines to ensure absolute precision, feel and durability. Pinnacle's ACB bearings are specially treated to resist corrosion during saltwater fishing conditions. Pinnacle's ACB Bearings last 10 times longer than standard non-treated steel bearings to ensure trouble free fishing in a corrosive saltwater environment. Check out our inshore baitcast and Coastal Power metal spinning reels with ACB! The level-wind line guide is a small part which often goes unnoticed ...unless an abrasive braided line cuts into it and you lose a tournament winning fish. So our Scion, Lucille, Vision, Alyssa XLT, Pro XLT and Matrix Series baitcast reels feature Titanium-Shielded Line Guides that allow line to spool on or off the reel with virtually no friction or damage, even from the most abrasive braids.
  12. I found theses from a Korean company called Eun Seong who owns Pinnacle and Silstar all the reels have 9 bearings or more

  14. yeah ... i got like 3 or four Megabait jerkbaits too.... those thing are like 7$+ it wass pretty cool
  15. I live in a small lake community in the St. Louis Mo area and an older guy (70's) is a big enthusiast fisher man like my self... We always talk fishing and since I'm leaving to go to Korea he wanted to show my his fishing room.... OMG this old guy could start a bait shop and not spend a dime on inventory... rubber made crates full of lures still in the boxes brand new... Old stuff, new stuff cases of discontinued colors and baits ... walls covered with rod racks and reel cases... so he grabs a bag and starts sticking stuff in it ... "I like these ones alot" he says and then sticks them in a bag... going over all the stuff took over an hour... then he hands me the bag and says show them Koreans how we Americans do it. IT was awesome .. like Christmas in august. here's a photo of what he gave me... not even a tenth of a percent of the gear this guy had...
  16. could ya swing 80? check these sexy beast out... sic guides. ecs seats and the works... A new brand in the bass fishing world, Damiki has already evoked quite a response with their beautifully crafted fishing rods. The entire series of Angel EX Spinning Rods are 2-piece and feature quality components, including SIC Guides and IPS/ECS Reel Seats. Billed as the entry-level series from Damiki, they were designed to fill the void for a quality 2-piece bass fishing rod at a reasonable price. The spigot joint linking the two pieces together is made to fit precisely, transferring feeling from the tip to the handle, as well http://www.***.com/descpageDAMSPINROD-DAEX.html#
  17. but one at 109 blows it away...... hahaha and i have 2...jelious? ;D
  18. best option for sure.... i had this issue once... i applyed the rod tip glue around the tip and it came out lumpy so i used a liter and hit again real quick and the spun the rod as even ly as possible... and guideed it with my finger a bit... stung a little but it came out nice....
  19. were do you get the nests at the start of the cast or towrds the end?
  20. nothing...I'm a little tired of your negativity my friend... some people like to collect all brands and types. or unique stuff..those people are called "enthusiasts" just because it's not your tried and true rod means nothing...
  21. I packed my rods tonight in my custom Rod tube...(kinda depressing..) last night fishing in the states for a while...) I left all the rods in there socks and raped the tips in bubble rap and placed them in my 4" diam /1/4 thick pvc tube.. 3 going one way and three going the other... do you guys think they will be ok like that? Thats the way they always come in th mail...
  22. oh one more negitive... the reel seat is kinda flimsy... when i was fighting with the cat... it felt at times as the reel would pulll right out of the seat... it never did but i could feel it giving... in away though it reminded me not to muscle the fish to much
  23. I have the 7' MH SB (lure weight up to 1 1/2 oz.).. instead of 3/4 like the normal MH)..I bought it for small swim-baits and big Spinner baits. So far it's ok .. it's very light and very balanced, it's pretty sensitive and really, it's not a cheap rod at 99 bucks with alconite guides... the grip is not slick. but not as good of a grip as the eva... ( I might add a small amount of that flocked shrink grip just behind the real seat maybe 2" or so).. also i wish it had a rubber butt cap. just has a brushed aluminum cap and the handle is long and gets me in the ribs...not so comfortable.. but it's a nice rod.. great looking.. and this particular model really plays big fish well... caught a 7" channel cat on a soft bodied swim bait tonight. i was able to pull that hard fighting cat where ever i wanted him... he would run and i was like oh no buddy get over here and he had to obey... i was impressed... i fished it kinda hard on purpose. (picked it up on sale for 49.99) wanted to see what it could do... good rod..
  24. like i said in another thread...my buddy does the same thing except with GLXs
