  1. I Use those creatures with 2/0 ewg Gamakatsu, and is a bait, easy to use and you can work in many ways, C or T rigs, as trailer, etc. The way I like to use in ponds is weightless, are really effective. I let it sink and recover very, very slow, most of the time just reeling, with very few or none rod movement. David

  6. 5/0 or 4/0 EWG
  7. I prefer the 9, for the reason that you can cast a little bit longer and is easy to control the deep with the retrieving speed!!!.......Shad color is best for me ! Good Luck
  8. for me culprits 7.5" in electric blue, red shad, june bug and black shad, this year I'll try trick worms ! David
  9. I think, that the list you want to do, is realy personal, cause you know your fishing places, and what you feel confortable to fish, for long time I made an statisitical control of the prefered colors in this forum talking about plastics are 1. Red Shad, 2. Watermelon seed in all the varieties, 3. Green Pumpkin, 4. blacks (in shapes you want) 5. june bug. (not necesarely in that order) the shape I'll try senkos, baby brush hogs or 6" lizards, and the worm you feel more confidence. If you don't like any of them or you feel that any different colour is better and work for you, is your choice. If i only need to carry 3 cranks I'll carry a CD Rapala silver 9, a Shad Rap, Shad Color in 9 and lipless crank in gold or blue shinner. your weapons are spinnerbaits, you choose them. But if I really want to make an small selection of lures to go fishing, i would ask my wife. David
  10. I found on the web an annoucement, that promote a secret of old fishermen that evidently increase you fishing rate, it cost something like a new rod, I'm just asking any kind of comment! David
  11. Babybasslady: First, fill the spool with half or less of the line capacity, use a monofilament like trilene big game, and try first with heavier lures or sinks, and work with the spool less free than possible no matter the short cast. good luck David

  23. Some body can tell me what's the difference in Gamakatsu hooks EWG vs. G-Lock under wich circumstances is better one to the other ? and the same question is for Mustad 37177 vs. 38105. ( for me is the same difference) thank you David
  24. I start to use that line thanks to RW recomendation, the first day with that I made some Backlash, after that I adjust my reel brake and the second day the clinch knot slip, I start to wet the line for tie the knot and problem solved, is fantastic line.
