my suggestion if you have room for the prop to rotate inbetween the toons is to take the single bolt out of the TM head, turn the head around and rebolt so you have a bow mount, much better to control...extend the TM wires so you can put the battery what is currently the front to help balance weight out...leave the oars in the water so when you move they will lay to the side and cut the water which will greatly help with tracking...since oars are a secondary/back up use...i'd make hangers for them so they stay to the side and in the position you need them to be with being in the water enough to act as rudders...

i can tell you that many lakes in my area, these are naturally occurring lakes that are exorcist pea soup puke green in warm months do to farm and home/development run off of fertilizers and manure...smells like a cows @ss with some dead fish funk mixed in for good measure...some lakes get algae so bad its like green syrup on top, creamy...i can't say that the fishing has suffered as i still pound them in the goo but doesn't necessarily make it as pleasant to fish on hot summer days...punchin blue green algae topped slop mats is kinda gnarly

some other fyi tidbits if you didn't know...for warm weather you want the breathable's or you will sweat to fricking death...and preferably breathables with stocking feet and separate boots...then the other thing is if your looking to use them in early spring/late fall with cool water keep in mind to leave yourself enough wiggle room to layer up...unless you just buy 2 sets, breathables and neoprenes... you want the felt boots for hard bottom/rocks (some places felt boots are illegal so check your regs) otherwise rubber boots on rocks/rocks with algae you will be floppin like a crappie traversing areas...i use felts in lakes with soft bottom and they work just fine in that aspect as well...but rubber lug bottom boots + rocks is a bad combination...

thats pretty much where i'm at with them. i've had shimano BC's for somewhere around 25-30 years or so. but these recent changes they've made are changing my mind with sticking with them. other brands have been putting out some fine reels & it may just be time for me to move on...

i guess you missed the sentence where i said its up to their discretion. if they feel your targeting gamefish or not. regardless of what you have to say. what part of that don't you understand? also this was told to me by the mn dnr. that if an officer feels what your throwing(lures) that is geared towards and/or highly likely to catch gamefish, your in the wrong and will be ticketed. you know exactly what your doing with illegally fishing for smallies and other gamefish out of season. theres nothing to respect about that.

no, white bass are not quite fished the same way as LM or smallies. you don't throw tubes & lizards for whitebass and depending on the cranks as well. the MN DNR knows this & aren't idiots. its up to their discretion whether they believe you are or are not targeting gamefish. they'll see right through that bucket of bull your trying to sell. you wrote this; the above you wrote is confessing to targeting these species. seriously, who you trying to kid here?
