- Favorite Movie of All Time?
To name a few: The Untouchables, the Hunt for Red October, Caddyshack, the entire Jason Bourne series, and visually Avatar- Favorite cover
Must be a Richmond thing ;D- Favorite cover
I'm bored. What is you guys' favorite cover or conditions to fish. It could be fishing around rocks, throwing frogs around pads, cranks above weeds, etc. I know this varies for each season and technique you use, but what do you find the most fun? My favorite has to be casting senkos and big grubs around submerged logs and trees, but occasionally in the summer mornings and evenings with a slight ripple on the water, nothing is more fun than catching bass on a Jitterbug- Centuries or Eons worth of fishing here? Let's Find Out!
695+7= 702- I told him to come pick it up.
It's probably not as durable as a Shimano either ;D- carry firearms while fishing?
I'd like to think everyone on this site is responsible, but with people like the_Natural, I can imagine many people might feel uncomfortable with the idea of so many guys carrying loaded guns, even if they have a permit.- carry firearms while fishing?
Jeez, you guys carrying on the roadtrip here? I don't own a gun, and i wouldn't really care, but some people might shy away if they knew everyone there would have a gun on them.- estimate the weight on this thing?
That bass is definitely over 4 pounds, I don't know where people get off saying that bass is less than 4. I would guess between 4.5 -5.5 unless you're a really tall guy.- Zillion 6.3:1 vs STX 6.4:1
Supposedly the Zillion handles heavier baits very well, so my initial reaction would be to go with that, but I have also heard only good things about the STX. I can't be too much of help because I have only used my friend's Zillion a couple of times, but it definitely excels with heavier lures.- If money was no object...
Howsabout a warehouse of every Daiwa baitcaster, Loomis rod, Shimano spinning reel, and phone numbers for the best custom rod builders in the country- Call of Duty Tonight?
Why is that? ;D I think I have an answer. Pitch the tent it's time to camp. I actually like TDM though. What's you'lls gamertags, i might be on.- How many pros post here?
Speaking of this, I wonder if it would be a conflict of interest for Ike to post in the Classic contest for himself as the winner. ;D- fuego, citica??
Use the Fuego for spinnerbaits and I guess if you can match it up with the right rod, finesse. I would recommend the Citica for cranking, but I like the braking system on Daiwas much better, so imo you should learn on the Fuego. Just practice a lot and you will be surprised how fast you learn.- A New Daiwa Pixy?
No - a steez and a pixy/pixzilla are very different reels. As Jake stated, the pixy was designed as a finesse fishing reel. The Steez is designed as an all purpose bass fishing reel with different intended purposes for the 103 and 100 models. The steez will not perform as well as a pixy with very light lures, lines, and rods. As well, the pixy will not perform as well as a steez with a 3/8 oz jig, 12lb line and a MH rod. Yep, that's what I meant by the Pixy serves more specific techniques than the Steez, but still I think it would be hard for most people to buy this new Pixy over a Steez, because only anglers looking for very high-performing finesse reels would want this. Most anglers look for versatile reels, but then again I wouldn't say the average angler would buy this reel. I think it would be interesting to see how many people on this site buy JDM reels.- A New Daiwa Pixy?
Any of you tackle junkies planning on getting one in April?- A New Daiwa Pixy?
I was thinking that also, but a guess it offers a more specific technique than the Steez- A New Daiwa Pixy?
I saw these reels at Japan tackle and they're supposed to be souped-up Pixies. Doubt they will ever hit the American market, but what do you guys think? http://www.japantackle.com/Daiwa_reels/Daiwa_PX68.htm - Favorite Movie of All Time?
