haha no, that was my second time bass fishing in my life (I started this past fall). All I had was a package of senkos, pliers, rod and reel, and the crank I caught it on. Now I know better. ;D

Assuming you are using an appropriate setup, how far can you guys cast your spinnerbaits? I can't seem to get my further than around 50 feet with proper reel settings.

This probably wont answer your question, but I just got the 6'8" MHF casting rod for weightless senkos and ikas. Its realllllly nice, by my standards (I had been fishing berkley lightning rods before.)

What do you guys think about spinnerbait size? Will a bigger spinnerbait deter smaller fish? I fish up here in the North and I dont want that to happen.

So I ordered a Cumara from ***.com I expected it to come today. Well Im in my room upstairs and I see the UPS truck pull up, so i get very excited. Turns out it was a lamp fixture my mom ordered! I called up *** and they say they never got my order. I hate ordering online!!!!!!!

How much does size matter when throwing traps? Will the bigger ones reduce frequency of strikes?

Hey everyone, I did a search on this rod, but would like to learn a little more. The Shimano Cumara is advertised a bottom contact rod. How does it handle senkos and fat ikas? Does anyone reccomend this rod? How does it compare to other rods in its price range ($200)?

I am looking to buy my first bass boat and am very interested in the bass raider type boat. If I want to rig one with a trolling motor how do i do this? Do i just need a trolling motor, battery, and charger? How do the motor, battery, and charger work? Do i just plug one into another? Does anyone have any pics of theirs? Thanks for bearing with me!!
