Round BC Reels
To those of you who use round BC reels, what is your favorite? Also what applications do you prefer them for or do you use them for everything? Just looking for some info as I am thinking of buying 2 Calcutta 100B for cranking reels. Thanks, Tommy

Daiwa 153hsta VS. Revo SX
I voted for the HSTA, I have a HST model. I like it a lot. Been one of my workhorses, for the last year or so. I can only hope that the HSTA will be even better, and then I will have to buy one of those as well.

? for those who own a Pflueger President baitcaster
Take them all off then it wont be a problem ;D Seriously though, I have had my President Wide Spool for about 2 years now and its seen a lot of work and abuse, and I have never had this problem.

Rod #0001 NEW PICS
Good job so far. Nice colors too on the guide wraps. I am going to have to try one of those wooden seats sometime.

Daiwa Tierra
I bought one for my nephew last year and it has seen its fair share of abuse from a 14 y/o and its still going strong. Been dunked in the water more times than I can count. Definetly a great quality reel!!!!

Baitcaster users
Practice, practice and practice and you will get the hang of free spool. It takes a very educated thumb.

help on braid
I am with Dodgeguy, Suffix is my braid of choice. I fish braid 100% of the time on everything, tied direct. No leaders.

New Marbled Rod
I finally got around to finishing up this rod. Took it out for a test run on the water today and the jury is still out on the length of it. Its 7'6" so it might take A LOT of getting use to. Batson IP903, Batson Guides, Burl Cork, Batson Seat, Marbled.

My first 2 JDM reels have arrived
Well its been a long time coming. I have always wanted to give the JDM reels a go and just see what there all about. So last weekend I set out searching on this site and asked a few members some questions behind the lines and decided to go with a Daiwa Airy Red Pixy and a Daiwa Alpha (purple) as my first 2 JDM reels.

Picked up a 1442 Jon Saturday
Picked this up over the weekend. I seen it listed in the newspaper and thought I would go look at it. Wasn't expecting it to be much of a boat since it was only $250 and included the trailer. When I got there, I also found out it had 2 trolling motors (36 bow mount, 42 transom), 3 deep cycle marine batteries, and it's a 1442 Jon. Just about right for what I want for the lakes right here around my house that are trolling motor only or 9.9hp limited. Put the 9.9 on it this morning and took it out on the one lake and it did great. Not the best boat in the world, but for 250 bucks it was definatly worth it for me. Now all I need for it is a decent depth/fish finder that isnt terribly exspansive for on it. Here is 3 pics of it:

high winds
Dealt with high winds and lots of fishing pressure today myself. Did pretty decent considering the conditions with a 1/2oz spinnerbait and a texas rigged Sweet Beaver. 18" - 24" chop on a small lake, winds 15-20mph with gusts of 30mph. Had the best luck in the stumps but it was like manouvering in a mine field do to the wind. But still managed 15 LM with a best of 4.5lbs.

Very FRUSTRATED!!!!!!!
So basically what you guys are saying, since my uncle rented the house and not the garage, my possessions are considered abandoned and free for the taking? This makes absolutely no sense to me at all. My stuff had a right to be there by the owner of the property. So what gives him the right to sell it? I can see this ending in me getting in trouble if this is the case as one way or another this guy (to keep the site clean) is going to pay. If I have to take the money out of his hide and then deal with the consecueces so be it. I have tried to do whats right and file a complaint with the local authorities. Well if that doesn't work, then its time to take stuff in my own hands. One way or another he will PAY!!!!!!!!
